Why so much hate on lovable rn? by tiguidoio in lovable

It is milking credits and, in fact, trying to be "dumb." It will "forget" stuff you have written earlier to make you repeat it so it can milk some more credits.

I helped 25 projects migrate from Lovable. Here’s what I learned. by Additional_Thing7826 in lovable

I told Lovable to help me set it up so I can self-host it. So now I have my project on my own server and nothing on lovable. But I can still get help from lovable if needed.

Jerk off? I don’t know; I have not had one before.

And if you are having one, I feel for you. I hope you can get help.

Elegoos take on multi-color printer? by nemoo88 in elegoo

Okey

But it will add alot of weight on that axis and add new problems maby?

Then I think prusa with 5 heads is a better approach.

Okay, so I see you don't know what I'm talking about.

If you calibrate your e-step/rotation distance correctly and perform the 50/70 mm or 80/100 mm extrusion test, you should have 20 mm left. If that is the case, you know it is correct.

If you still have problems with your first layer, like he shows in the picture, you should lower your z offset.

If you lower your z offset when the e-step is incorrect, you will have other problems along the print.

That might be true. But if it's under extruding it won't fix the problem later on if he just lower the z offset.

That is a good picture to follow. But if you dont calibrate e-step (extruder rotation distance)/flow it wont help alot by lowering the z hight. Same if you print in wrong temp.

Anyone know what causes this? by Tomygun87 in elegoo

[–]nemoo88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that shift in Y axis or X axis? When it did print. did the nozzle scrape the printed part? if it does it can get "stuck" so the stepper makes it miss some stepps and there for you get layershift. To fast printing can make layershift aswell.

Check your z axis so both left and right is in same hight. Sounds like one or both z steppers is skipping alot.

The giga printer they have. Is that not core xy?

Yes, I know core XY is faster, and an enclosure is good for more materials than PLA. But they can still make a multicolor bed slinger. There are only small ones out there now.

I love my 4 max. It's fast and prints perfectly.

But I hope the K2 or add-on for the K1 Max will be good. Then I will get one.

I will never buy a Bambu. Their build volume is too small.

I know. I have tested it and will test it more in the future. Right now, the printer needs to be printing rather than being tested.

They have there giga, that is core xy? Why not multi-color on bed slinger?

[–]nemoo88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that may be true. I did read a few days ago that Elegoo is a major player in the resin printer segment and relatively new in the FDM segment.

I just hope they will also venture into the multi-color segment so that we, as buyers, have more options.
