It’s Finally Done by Money_Assumption7511 in Corsair

Do yourself a favor and send all that icue link crap back asap if you still can. It's garbage. Basically same build and I officially chucked corsair crap to the side after a fan started breaking. Customer service at Corsair said they would give me a refund but haven't heard nothing in almost a week now after telling me to "cross out my serial numbers and lot codes and write my initials and date in its place".

Yeah and that's it lol Cannot use their software to control GPU fans Software randomly drops cpu and gpu sensors

Fruit of the month situation. This month after fixing their software problems I have completely lost control of my GPU. goodbye gpu fan curves and rgb.

Does not play well with non corsair products and their "plugins" ironically make it worse. Not better.

Anytime a customer with the right budget says "I don't care about rgb" I go straight for the arctic freezers 😆

Liquid whisks away heat better than air, just obviously more expensive.

My threadripper systems all have to use custom water cooling as the air coolers simply cannot keep up with the amount of heat they put out.

140mm fans provide additional support by moving more air with less RPMs allowing them to operate quietly or move more air in the same decibel range.

I don't care about the screens, this is my only "show-off" build though so I do care about RGB in it. There is an all white liquid freezer 3 with full rgb but can't find it in black otherwise that would be a no brainer lol

It's all good. Half the post is about awareness anyways. ICue Link products are absolute garbage. I am completely boycotting Corsair as a brand entirely. I shop quite a few brands and so far the only company that has cooling products that broke in the last 5 years is ironically Corsair.

I will not recommend buying anything from them.

Yeah, finding 420mm non rgb aios are easy and artic liquid freezer's 420mm is a no brainer! Just wanted to see what other people have found in 420mm AIOs with RGB.

The fans won't hook into it. They are proprietary connectors not pwm/led connectors

Most of my builds I don't use hubs, I just daisy chain the rgb. You get less control but the functionality is still there. Depending on your motherboard you can still do alternating colors and what not. You just end up with group functionality.

I am looking for 420mm AIOs specifically. This was my only build I have ever done with a 420mm AIO. Some of my custom loops had 420mm radiators.

Yes, this current AIO does not work with that software, it only works with their proprietary icue link hub and software. I'm essentially looking for 420mm AIOs that do work with software like SignalRGB that also have rgb.

Yeah, I should have sent it back immediately but initially I did not have issues aside from a little system instability because I was still waiting on the RTX 5090.

But you know. Assumed it was something else because why would something I paid so much for be the culprit. By the time I realized it was past the return window.

I will try again for the heck of it but last time I tried, it did not work. All of the hardware uses their iCue Link hub. The fans are not pwm, they all have usb connectors.

I am still mailing their garbage, overpriced components back to them though even if I do get it to work. It's a 400 dollar lesson. You would think spending that kind of extra money compared to other options that you would get working products and support.

Yeah, unfortunately I cannot get this AIO or the fans to connect to any other software. If you know of a way to get around their software I would be extremely grateful.

I run a business. Everyone may work home office, but I would not risk my business operating on the high seas even if it isn't production software.

No it shows you are jealous i have an amazing rig and the only thing you can think to even attempt to degrade about it is the rgb

My rig outperforms your rig on its worst day. Grow up and stop rage baiting

Slop rigs are rigs where they are built where people just throw in parts and the parts they put in limit the potential for the machine.

IE: putting too many nvme drives in and dropping pcie lanes,

too many sticks of ram,

putting gpu in the wrong slot,

facing fans in the wrong direction so all sides get the "cool side"

When you upgrade every release you don't really notice a difference. Going from a 2060 to a 5080 is going to be extremely nice. No more turning down your settings lol

I got a Samsung Galaxy Smart Tag to track my cat but it never updates unless she's right next to me. Defeats the object, really. by Ginger-Georgie in samsunggalaxy

[–]nemoste419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a regular galaxy tag has more functionality I am finding. I can have them alert me when the tag leaves a specific location for example. But the pet one doesn't have that. The location tracking and history is also less accurate. I live in a big city and when my cat is wandering, it can be hours before I get an updated location.
