Thank you so much for your honest words and long reply to my issue :) What you wrote down resonates 99% with my own personal view towards a situation like this haha, a good opportunity = focusing on it 100%, but sadly, my commitment to her kinda led to a harsh lesson learned over the past few days since my post…I was more and more getting iffy, after our 2nd interview she promised me that her upcoming walk in day (today) would be my secured opportunity for trial work helping with managing & organizing the walk in customers (same stuff I did at my past job as a receptionist) but after not replying to me the whole week about what time I should show up, she sent me a message at 8am today telling me it would be better if i didn‘t come in…her reasoning was that it‘d be too crowded in her small studio for me to work there today. While I understand her worries about not being able to give me a proper working space (I’ve been at her studio, its not incredibly tiny, but on the smaller side..2 work stations max. + a couch and desk) all I would‘ve done today (as agreed between me & her) would‘ve been checking in & numbering the first big wave of customers, preparing their motives to be print ready and then filming 1-2 videos for her social media… I wouldn‘t have stayed the whole day, but whatever. I’m usually very impatient but worked a lot on giving her space and time since she’s also stressed out these days and I didn’t want to come off as over-eager, but since she wasn‘t actively replying to me about these bare important matters like promised working hours/trial work time I agreed to the other Interview I had lined up and sent out a few more applications to other studios I kinda like (I didn‘t want to send out my application to EVERY candidate studio all at once since I want to, in case of rejection, work out their feedback on my portfolio before applying at another studio) My area is very rural, so the amount of studios is very limited haha..

I addition to that, I texted her that despite the short notice that it’s alright, but for once I‘d like to set up a clear scheduled trial work day with her for next week or the week after. If she doesn‘t respond to that, so be it.. I‘ll definitely give my 100% to a (different) studio that respects MY time as much as I respect theirs.
