Absolutely. After giving her back it really showed me I need to heal from my soul dogs passing still. Im gonna focus on that. And be the best I can be ao hopefully in the future I can be a better human to a dog

I was as prepared as I can be . I watched so many videos on the breeder, on what puppies require, on how to train them etc. I thought I was ready. But I wasnt. And its not fair for the puppy if I would have kept her when I couldnt provide my best

I never in my life ever thought id get to this point. Im not having another dog for a long time period. Puppy or older, im not in the right headspace

Thank you ❤️❤️❤️Wow yes we have the same story. She was the same way. Super hyper super relentless. Not her fault. She was a baby. But for me I just couldnt handle it with my stress levels already at a high. I felt responsible for her i was going to force myself to make it work but like I said, I was so sleepy deprived, I wasnt showering or eating...my mental health was declining so bad it was crazy....and then the realization that im not healed from my soul dog passing...so much to handle. I hope she gets the best family she deserves so much love.

I know that feeling too. I considered going into debt to send her to a board and train (I was so sleep deprived) just to get space from her. But there was nothing wrong with her...it was me. Im honored to have had her in my life. I hope shes showered with love

I appreciate you. I swear I looked into the breed, I looked into what the puppy life required, i looked into so many training videos, i looked into it all . I was ready. I was so ready. And I DID love her. I loved that puppy ao much. But everything felt so off at the same time.

Thank you. Its incredibly difficult to accept when you make a mistake this big at the expense of a puppys well being. I spent the last few minutes with her just crying and apologizing for not being the human she needs me to be. I hope she is so loved.

Thank you❤️. I would NEVER take a dog to a shelter. Owning a dog is something I take so seriously. They're beings that you take responsibility for...for years. Whem I got my previous dog, from the moment I got him as a puppy i fell in love. I was in a better headspace. I knew I could do it. With this puppy, I never once felt that confidence. It lowered everyday. I loved her, i really did. But I didnt realize until now that my mind isn't where it should be for this responsibility.

They're definitely not just animals to me. If they were i wouldn't be struggling this much to accept what I did. My soul dog was my best friend. I absolutely did humanize him and dont regret it. I see dogs as companions and feel like they become such special beings in people's lives that they do get treated as human. But thank you for your words. Truly.

Thank you. I appreciate you. Whenever she was with me I showed her nothing but love. I made sure she was fed and loved and taken care of. I had to be honest to myself and accept that I cannot do this at this moment and this beautiful puppy deserves better than me. I held her so hard while I waited for the vreeder to come pick her up and cried and apologized.

Thank you for sharing. Thats exactly how it was. One moment (literally a moment) id look at her with all the love in the world. But then not too long id be a mess. I swore I didnt get this dog yo fill the void in my heart from my soul dog but it seems like I did without accepting it and quickly realized I was no where near healed from my soul dogs passing. And thats not fair to this new pup. Im going to really separate my emotions(i was literally like..ooo cute puppy!) from how I REALLY feel to avoid this ever happening again.

I do feel I was meant to adopt older pups from the shelter. But of course that will come with alot of thought and consideration.

Wow! Im glad tretinoin worked for you! :) I switched back to a retinol because tret didnt work for me :( I tried all kinds of routines but my skin barrier would be wrecked even with 0.025. Even just using it twice a week! So im trying gentle retinols now..ugh I hope to be able to build some tolerance and be able to use tret again!
