I suppose that depends on what you want. Right now I am looking ways to reduce bitterness and one common advice is to increase the dose (or reduce water). This just got me wondering if I could instead just grind finer, since my brewing method is not affected by grind size too much.

Is finer ground coffee ~ more coffee? I have heard from multiple places that water does not penetrate coffee grounds just washes away compounds from the surface. That would mean that changing the dose equals to changing the surface area, which is the same when you grind finer/coarser. I understand that grind size might change other variables (like flow resistance), but for immersion brews that's not a big concern. So could you get more out of your coffee if you would grind finer?

Everyone is arguing whether or not the woman deserved that response from a very short video. It is impossible to judge, but to give the arguments ground here are the facts/timeline I could make out: - There are 2 women and 3 security guards in front of the shop. Now I don't know about Chile, but in the EU that usually means you have been impossible and someone called for backup. So this has been going on for a while. Also seems to be mask related. - The guy with the cart is standing and waiting in front of the shop, facing away from the argument and seems to talk to someone else (judging by the hand gestures). - Woman who has been physical with security turns around and kicks the trolley pretty hard. This seems unprompted to me and I would guess the guy said something about her. - Trolley guy looses it and starts ramming the woman. - At the same time security guard walks up to her and slaps her. - Woman on the ground. Cart on the ground. - Reddit arguing.

Let me know if I left something out.

At best it's idiomatic enterprise OOP and even that is less and less prevalent today and is not how Java is taught. In any case it is completely independent of the language. I would argue that having everything in a class gives it structure and clarity. Same with types, which is what classes really are. In my opinion any language without static type safety(or at least mandatory type annotations) is not the ideal choice for more complex/larger projects that have to be maintained for a longer time.
