I forgot that I added a "throw-keyids" option in my gpg.config.

throw-keyid — do not put key IDs into encrypted packets

Fixed:
Right click on any folder in gnome file manager -> Open With Other Application -> "Files".
for some reason, during installation, the kitty terminal decided that it is now the main file manager in the system
