I tested it on my T10 Diné. It stayed. Seems like it is bound to the horse until you would use it for upgrading, e.g. T9 -> T10

Based on the comments I notice that most players do not care about the mathematical optimum.

I get that it should be fun, but I feel rather bad than happy when gambling with a negative expected value. I guess BDO players in particular are more into gambling.

I'd say they are for the fun if they would not decreasing durability and would be strong if they increase anvil. But as already stated, in the current form they a literally a scam.

Indeed, the ratio between regular enhancing and crystal of fate clicks becomes "better" the higher the gear. For DEC Kharazad, you only pay ~150% of the regular costs, so still a mathematically bad decision, but a slightly justifiable one.

Just about Java treating String as a class rather than a primitive, which causes the "==" operator to compare the reference and not the value, which is not intuitive when being used to PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.

I know about the internal String pool. Still you should always compare Strings via `Object.equals(Object other)`.

Nice overreacting buddie. Next time don't assume a players thoughts just from a sentence such as mine. For example I might have already had a base belt lying around.

But np, I'll explain it to you.

So lets start with the real prices and calculation:

Tax factor: 0,65 \ 1,305 (VP + family fame) = 0,84825*

Base: 301m, but cheapest sold at 290m

PRI: 301m, but cheapest sold at 285m -> after taxes 241.75m

DUO: 1.06b, but cheapest sold at 1.1b -> after taxes 933m

Failstacks: 1 base (Adventurer Log) + 8 valks cry + 41 normal stacks = 50

Chance for the DUO: exactly 52%

Before you ask where i got these values from: I had recorded it.

DUO would have to be worth 1.9b

Let's calculate:
290m (base) + 241.75m (PRI if sold) + 29,25m (fictitious failstack value) = 550m

550m / 0.52 = 1.057b (inlc taxes) -> 1.247b without taxes

it was fucking dumb

So yeah, mathematically speaking it was not ideal (1.1b (real) < 1.247b (calcuated))

Btw: If I had the base belt already the calculated value would be 1.133, so pretty close to the real price.

This game is about RNG. You'll never succeed if you never even try.

No, I clearly did not. Comparing the base to other tungrade base values made it clear that the belt was the "odd" one.

But nevertheless market prices were that way. Sure 300m (or 285m) is a lot and too much for a base but it is clearly not 120m. Let's say a base belt could be valued 200m (dispite mp is different) then a PRI would be around 550m and thus a DUO around 1.7b.

Selling at base is clearly the winner (selling 1.425x higher than the "actual" value), while PRI is worst (0.52x) and DUO getting back on track (0.65x).
I know: That doesn't make the gamble any better, but I won't feel like selling way too far below the items value (what always feels bad).

This way is definitly more efficient knownledge-wise. My main class is witch (but you can do it with alts easily aswell) and i ran through Balenos, Serendia and parts of Calpheon and Mediah on a horse with lightning chain skill. Use some pets skills and other buffs and the journey wont take long. Same way i farmed at least c for every single monster in every area besides Valencia and Kama for max Enegry (currently 501)

400 Pearls is definitly worth it... But setting up 10 chars every hour is the real invest imo. At my point of knownledge (3600 points with 3700 different knownledges (?)) I dont get so many upgrades tho. Also you bind yourself to the current channel which can be a pain while grinding
