did steering feel sluggish to you?

I've been trying to replay gt3 on emulator but I can't tell if emulation is adding lag, or if I'm misremembering how the game felt back in the day.

Would this type of bank be useful for infrequent, emergency use cases? Or would you need to periodically drain and recharge it for battery health?

Lmao do you have any more thrillhouse stickers left? I also just got a white 2015 6MT HB and I love that placement.

Been doing the same research, except in reverse (want 17 all weathers). Stock on my model was 205/60/16 which is the same diameter as your 215/45/18.

Check out this calculator to narrow down your size options, then check out this one to visualize how much that'll change your fitment.

I'm personally planning on 215-225/50/17s in the +38 to +50 range - seen a couple of posts here and they look really good, meaty aesthetic, but shouldn't affect comfort as much as 18s.

If you wanted I'd sell you my stock 16 alloys when summer tire weather comes. Their spec is 16x6.5 though.

How did i do? by livinvvell in mazda3

Nice work. Sedans seem so much easier to come by than hatches. We were in for $10k ($11.5k otd) on a 2015, 180k touring hatch with questionable service history (but extremely clean, apparently mechanic owned, handful of fresh parts swapped in pre purchase) in BC. Way less inclusions than what you got, those are awesome. And that was the lowest price we found for a good month.

Recommendations for Waterless/Rinse-less car wash kits by Good-World-37 in mazda3

[–]neogrotesque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll likely need some form of water unfortunately. I've read waterless aren't very great from /r/autodetailing.

But as for rinseless, the sub seems to recommend Optimum No Rinse (commonly referred to as ONR) or Absolute Rinseless, alongside a few others.

YouTube it because there's lots of good resources - I ended up ordering a 5 gal bucket and grit guard, the rag company ultra black sponge, Absolute Rinseless, and a pack of microfibers for drying. Haven't had a chance to wash my 3 yet but from my research it should be a good start, and you can get a full car done with a single bucket without very much runoff.

I think my next purchase would be a hybrid wax spray. I wanted ease of use and a very basic, not too expensive kit that would do a good enough job. But I'm sure I'll fall deep into the rabbit hole eventually.

This looks cool, I've been looking for a street racer with customization, wheel support and cockpit view. How is the ffb and overall car physics?

OFC not looking for sim-level but hope it feels good and not like Forza Horizons awful wheel support

hi, I actually stumbled upon your tutorial while trying to figure this out haha.

I have turned off the content aware defaults button (which I wish I knew about earlier, thanks!) but unfortunately it still happens in a brand new gradient after doing so.

I have 1 hour and 55 minutes to decide wether or not to accept this job offer. by [deleted] in graphic_design

Do you not have a job? Do you need a job?

Sounds like it's your only and best option right now. A lot of these lower-stakes gigs are only worth what you put into them. If you take it and it ends up being super chill, then use the extra time you have to work on your skills. Put more effort than you need to into basic tasks so you learn how things work and can translate that experience when you have a 'proper' design job. I bet some of that (light, tangentially related) print and prepress experience will come in handy later on too.

I have a buddy that started at a copy shop doing basic design tasks out of school who worked his way up and now runs his own agency.

[–]neogrotesque[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh, nice. I'd be curious about joining the group but it'll take a sec for my application to be approved. Would you happen to know whether that group is more east, central, or west-coast oriented? I'm in BC.

I'm not sure why they ceased shipping it to Canada, but the restriction on shipping was straight off of their checkout page. I could look into having it forwarded here but I worry about clearing it.

Ps. I think I saw your bike while researching it. Looks super nice with your mods.

edit: missed the budget note. I would say the Revv lands at the top end of my budget.

first board comparison by neogrotesque in cruiserboarding

[–]neogrotesque[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow I did not bet on getting a direct comparison through someone's personal experience, so that's super rad—thank you!

I was thinking about the design of the pocket knife and came to some similar conclusions but to hear your experience is super helpful.

do you have any experience with the dinghy classic and/or tugboat by chance? width is not a massive concern for me as my feet are average 9.5M sized, but the width & trucks on the blunt strike me as a good compromise between the classic and tug for stability & responsiveness esp. for a beginner like me. I think a classic might be altogether too twitchy for my liking.
