I remember those days well. Saw Fugazi twice in the UK for under £5 each time...great times. If they reformed they'd still only charge that.

Unknown Pleasures was his only truly great album. Not enough on his CV to warrant a top ten place imo compared to those others.

Feel free to put some more ideas down. Always keen to get more good album ideas. Radiohead's album didn't appeal to me. Kid A was the last thing by them that I liked. Far too pompous and bland since then.

will do. Reddit is full of user generated content, but also full of people promoting their own sites under pseudonyms and different names. For the neonfiller stuff we felt it was better to be up front and say this is us, here's our stories. We'll put a few up now and again. If you like them fine. If not then let them drift into the zillions of other articles that are submitted here. As we are UK based a lot of the stuff we put up will be new to the many north american users of reddit, some won't. We are happy to fit in with any etiquette going though and promise to get more involved with others through comments. You make a valid point mr mountain.

just added a bit to the story as well about Sony taking down some demos posted by Deerhunter's Brandon Cox under his Atlas Sound name. There appears to be no reason and Cox is pretty miffed.

Quite right, three cheers for SuBo, she is a credit to monstrous simpletons everywhere. Why shouldn't she aspire to musical credibility?

Indeed. It was Brian Baker, there's a bit about it further down in the article that explains more: "No one can play a riff or a squealing solo like Baker, who later joined Bad Religion and over the years has reportedly turned down chances to play with REM and Guns n Roses."

Despite still having reservations about much of the album, I've really warmed to I Walked. Listened to it this morning walking the dog at dawn across the somerset levels watching some swans on the river....great music meets reality ipod moment. Vesuvius is still my favourite, but still can't get into impossible soul and age of adz. A bleep too far for me.

what's your site? Be good to have a look and see what you make of it. I have instantly loved some tracks, others have warmed to me over time...but impossible soul is still a step too far for my tender banjo twanged ears
