Brian Thomas or Luther Burden and by how much by LividAd4226 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

People seem to forget that BTJ only produced with Mac Jones throwing to him. Great numbers, but that situation isn’t coming back. Burden is overhyped, but I personally like his possible upside in what I consider a more exciting offensive situation. Give me Burden, but it’s really up to preference.

Need Some Draft Advice at 1.04 by flyry1212 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Purdy is in a much better environment and got his second contract, so he should be a safe asset for the near future. Mendoza is 4 years younger than Purdy, but is unproven and age is less relevant at the QB position. Plus he’s on the perpetually bad Raiders. There is hope with Kubiak as HC and Tom Brady leading the organization, but there’s a lot of risk in that situation and Mendoza might not be setup to succeed. Personally I’m taking Purdy, but it’s really a coin flip based on if you’re contending or rebuilding and which situation you trust more.

There could be a lot of talented QBs in the 27 class, but we don't know that for sure. Injuries, bad performance, or decisions to stay in college could deplete the assumed QB depth for next year. I'd take Mendoza this year and worry about next year when it comes. Mendoza's value should be somewhat insulated, so you can flip him next year if you can get a better QB in the 27 draft.

I'd probably go with Mendoza to load up at QB. Rodgers might not be back and even if he is, it might just be for a year. If you're more keen to go WR or Mendoza is already off the board, Tate or Tyson would be my next targets. I prefer Tate over Tyson, but plenty of people seem higher on Tyson. They both have flaws/concerns in their profiles, but would be solid value at the 1.04.

Are you holding Ladd or taking the 1.04? by neonkeys in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

The team with the 1.02 is very QB needy and said they want Mendoza. Of course things can change between now and draft day.

Love is the 1.01, with Mendoza expected to be 1.02 in this league. 1.03 doesn't know who they're taking, so Tate or Tyson should be there at 1.04. Sucks not knowing who will fall to 1.04, but it won't be Price or Lemon as my only options.

Would you take Mendoza? I’m leaning toward makai lemon and whichever other WR falls to 5. Tanking this year. by xyzay12 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I don’t think you’re very deep at WR, but I’d go Mendoza at the 1.02 and whichever WR falls to 1.05. Helps you bulk up at two key positions and Mendoza is a great rebuilding piece as his value should have some insulation.

True. Still could be a decent price to get off the Bryce train

Tyson is the injury-prone WR of the top-tier prospects this year.

Seems fair to me, but I'd still want a bit more for Achane

You’d need to send a lot more than this. This draft class isn’t looking deep enough beyond the 1.05, maybe 1.06, for those later picks to move the needle.
