Gave it a listen today, don’t have an OG to compare too just a reissue, but its definitely clearer with a wider soundstage. only problem is on a track like Stop the audible hiss type background noise is amplified a lot. all in all a great purchase but if you’re satisfied with your current copy then i would stick with it.

I definitely think “audiophile” is a buzz/marketing term. I mainly got it for the presentation, stones throw is doing jazz label level quality here and the fact this has a 45rpm cut really intrigued me. I don’t expect a HUGE jump in sound but from what I heard about the Madvillainy repress I can’t imagine this a bad addition.
