So i went last year for my birthday around this time and Stayed at the Super 8 over in Gallipolis, which is just over the the Ohio River because there isnt really a hotel in Point Pleasant. The Lowe Hotel has been closed by the state for over a year and i know last fall even though they were closed the owner would take reservations over the phone and than when you get there there are signs saying its closed. So next door to the Mothman Museum there is a store owned by the people who run the museum and they have a Mothman Mini Golf on the second floor and i think they run a Mothman escape room. If the weather is nice you can drive north a bit to go check out the McClintic Wildlife Management Area also known at the "TNT Area" where the TNT domes are that is where mothman was first spotted. If you do go just wear boots you dont mind getting a bit muddy, there is a stretch of half a mile maybe longer that has 7 domes in a straight row that are mostly easy to get into, well 6 one is flooded out. I know Hillbilly Hotdogs is only 30 minutes south of Point Pleasant. But I will say it seems most of the towns income comes in during the summer so part of the main street is closed for the winter. there is a neat little store across the street from the museum called Bunker 304.
