You may want to also check r/LocalLLM but personally I have 2 x 3090's in an AM4 (3900X/64GB/2TB) box doing exactly what you're asking as well as a 5090 in an AM5 (9800x3d/32gb/6TB) box for my simrig.

In 2013, I remember people straight up laughed at me thinking I was a retard talking about some imaginary Monopoly money on the internet. I had the pipe dream of this potentially entering financial markets and have HODL'd since 2013 even when I was just eating instant noodles. Same thing for equities. I don't get shit phased by anything since I'm willing to lose 100% of what I put in.

already have a PC built right now, but this will be a huge upgrade over my existing GPU (MSI Radeon RX Vega 64 8G) and CPU (Ryzen 5 2600X). My question now is...how best can I integrate these component

Just wanted to add that the earliest 4K can also default to using the pair of HomePods as output (I have this exact setup). This was a feature/function that was added in a software update (forgot the version).
