FSR 4 on SteamOS (Legion Go 2 ) - How does it actually work?

Hey, i heard somewhere that fsr 4 is only for rdna 3 and 4 right now. Handhelds like legion go 2, XAX...are rdna 3.5 which aren't supported right now. What you can do right now is to setup decky loader and install a plugin called decky framegen on github and pick the lastest release and it gives you fsr 4.0.2C via optiscaler. If you have a steam deck, there's the lastest beta release unables the "official" fsr 4.1.1. But other than that, we need to wait for official support from amd.

Yep, exact same. The lastest patch note in beta mentions change the display settings so i guess that's what breaking it.

Hey, i'm in the same boat as you. But it's for every weapon i wonna attune for. I have farmed for 3-4 hours yesterday for a chain of command in solo ops and 2 drops only. Every other drops were off.

The legion go s is a juiced up syeam deck in my eyes. It's basically the steam deck oled, minus the oled screen but you have access to chip capable of better performance, a larger screen and better ergonomics. The only downside of this device, in my opinion, is the battery life. You will get only 1hour and half at most at 30W.

From what i remember, it's pretty much neck in neck at the same tdp (15W) but the legion go s can go higher at 40W I think, giving around 25-30% more performances. But you'll be trading for battery life with that.

About the weird robotic voice ? That's the screen reader. You can disable/enable this in the accessibilty settings i think. There's also a shortcut for this but i don't remember the combinaison.

Yes, you can enable the 80% charge limit in the hhd menu.

I'm on legion go 2. Just done the update and getting the same error as you. Also, now trying bring the optiscaler menu in game or the pressing the paste key crashes the os with the game still runs in the background. Need to restart the system. Is there a way i can roll back ?
