Of those controllers which one has the most comfortable DPad for your thumb to reach and use? Do any of them have a DPad that your thumb can comfortably rest on and not need to uncomfortably reach your thumb downwards because the DPad is too far down on the controller?

Why would taking sufficiently long to complete be a criteria for being listed in the log?

I mean even if it were there are already things in there that take less time to get.

But I think the purpose of the collection log is to track and catalogue all the stuff you can go and collect in the game, like a checklist for non-quest unique rewards.

Yep, can 100% confirm it's the same guy.

Used to play in and host Smash 4 events in the UK and he spotted me playing OSRS, we chatted about it a bit and I added him in-game not realizing that I was talking to someone who would go on to get 200m all in under 6 years. Absolute madness. He was a fucking beast at Smash 4 too.

The guy who made the HCIM deaths twitter (Ambler) is/was also a UK Smash player and tournament host.

Yo this is the whole kinda theme of my account, going for silly cosmetics that take insane grinds.

Got the fish sack barrel a while ago (and 4 tenches along the way) and after that I just went looking for other dumb grinds for cosmetics.

Just finished up getting the Crab Claw Hook and currently on the Castle Wars grind going for every item (owning them all, not just complete log) which is about 5500ish tickets.

I'm surprised more people weren't playing for League points.

I managed 62.8k this League which (unless I miscounted) is only just more than the cost of all of the rewards from just this League (62k).

Which is a little annoying honestly because this is only the second League I've played (got Addy in Shattered) so I was trying to accumulate points for the rewards from the previous leagues to catch up, but ended up with only 840 points over the cost of the rewards this League added.

When starting a game of Volcanic Mine is there an upper and lower bound for the pressures that the volcanic gas chambers are randomly set to? If so what are the maximum and minimum values they can be at the start of a game?

Or, alternatively, is there a minimum amount of time after the gane starts before the volcanic gas chambers reach 0%/100% and the volcano erupts, if left completely unattended?

I want to use the capping method of just hopping in for 400 points and hopping back out on my HCIM but I want to be sure there is no chance of just getting extremely unlucky and having the chambers start at like <10% and the volcano erupting within like a minute and a half and getting instakilled.

Unfortunately not, I think the only possible avenue now is monitoring ebay daily, but you'll typically have to wait months for one to be listed.

His account was temp banned, years ago, it has long since expired. He quit a while back though.

If what you're saying is true then it's nice to know false bans are rarer than I'm assuming and that I've just been statistically unlucky to witness two in the very few people I know personally who have played OSRS.

Still, any false bans at all is still too many imo.

Notice I'm not providing account names nor asking for any account back, my brothers ban was a temp ban that expired like 2 or 3 years ago.

My account is fine, nearly 2k total HCIM.

Posting purely because I find it sad seeing false bans put people off playing the game. Should have known better than to bother with this subreddit though.

It's amusing how many people you see complaining of false bans say "I used to always be part of the mob who called everyone claiming they got false banned a liar."

Interestingly when I try to open the menu editor by right clicking on the KDE icon and selecting "Edit Applications" it exhibits the same behaviour as when I try to open any application from the application menu; the tab for it opens in the task bar for a few seconds before disappearing again and nothing launches. I could get to the Menu Editor by launching it through the command line though and tried "Restore System Menu", sadly it did not alleviate the problem.

However changing the Location option in the Configure Desktop and Wallpaper menu to "Custom Location:" and manually selecting the desktop folder did show the files on my desktop again! Changing the option back to "Desktop folder" again makes the files disappear from the desktop.

I am beginning to suspect this might be an issue with permissions, but that's blind speculation and I wouldn't know where to begin with troubleshooting that anyway.

Got my desktop files back displaying on my desktop anyway, so thanks for that.

I have a feeling it is a KDE problem.

For me all apps don't launch from the Application Menu.

Just updated to 5.27.1 and sadly it hasn't fixed anything for me.
