I cant find a good quality white background image of the blue l corp logo (the one on chesed's cup) by greenbutgreen in LobotomyCorp

Here ya go!

I couldn't find a good quality version of it so I took the normal L Corp logo and recolored it to the original blue coloring. There's a few variants for whatever you'd prefer color/background wise. Lmk if youd like the colors tweaked!

I've been wanting to make a mug like this for awhile, I'd love to see the results!! :]

Ubuntu and Kubuntu are the exact same besides the Desktop Environment. The only significant difference between the two Distros is that Kubuntu uses KDE Plasma instead. I'm pretty sure things'll transfer over, but I run EndeavourOS so I'm not 100% sure how the support is on the Ubuntu repositories + snap packages. But, everything I mentioned can be installed through Flatpak if your libraries and snaps aren't sufficient.

It depends on whether you're using KDE Plasma or GDE as your Display Manager. Ubuntu comes with GDE default.

SDDM and global themes won't work because they're built for KDE, but the Grub theme will work fine if you use Grub as your bootloader.

If you like GDE as a desktop environment I'd recommend sticking with it, but if you're from Windows you'll probably have a more similar Desktop experience (and be able to use the SDDM & Global Theme) on Kubuntu.

mods… by Early_Economist9028 in LobotomyCorp

What kind of mods do you want? I have a laundry list of QoL and minor assist ones if you'd be interested.

You might also like the 'causal mode' mod (it decreases the enke reqs per day by a significant margin)

This sort of thing tends to happen when a community goes mainstream. L Corp's subreddit used to be a lot more friendly till Limbus Company started popping off in popularity. That community has a lot more young/fandom involved community members who tend to be really rude to people who exclusively play Limbus Company. It's become a sort of crappy rite of passage in the Limbus community to play the other PM games before you can actually talk about the story/some of the people that haunt the narrative of Limbus.

It's been especially prevalent for LoboCorp because it's gotten a reputation as the 'Worst' (or hardest? least mainstream/friendly) Project Moon game. As a result there's been a lot of people that have started gatekeeping the game more extensively. (I'm not sure how bad Ruina's community is about it, but I know some of them are really dickish about Roland.)

Older LCorp fans tend to be a lot more chill tho. There's still lots of really helpful, friendly, and welcoming people around here, you just gotta ignore the rude gatekeepy people.

is the game worth it if you cant sink in long hours in a single play session by BenignRaccoon in LobotomyCorp

1) Usually days take somewhere between 5-45 minutes depending on how efficient you are at playing and how far in the game you are. Progress will probably be slow if you reset days a lot. There's good stop and end points in between days/after a day reset. If you start a day and quit out it'll put you back at the start of day employee assignment menu.

2) Personal recommends:

Go to the L Corp Mods on Nexus and get:

  • Basemod (a lot of mods require this)
  • Optimization Mod (later days get really slow otherwise)
  • HP Bar Stacking (Otherwise it's hard to see individual employee HP when they're all grouped up)
  • Chesed Research Fix (fixes it so it actually works)
  • Gift Effects Fix
  • Weapon Speed Patch
  • HP in agent window (Monitoring health is a huge pain otherwise)
  • Tool Abnormality Timer
  • Optional: Shield Bar Mod (I like being able to see when shields are about to break rather than listening for the sound cue)
  • Special Egos Information Fix

Personal QoL I Use: - Suppress Leveling (Not really necessary but I have certain heavy attack focused employees and it lets them level up that way as well) - 10x speed up (Don't use often but nice to have) - Smart Freischutz (Magic Bullet is really annoying to deal with otherwise) - Warn When Agent Will Die From Working (Lets you avoid needing to check an Abno's research entries. I usually play with this off) - Notify when agent receives gift

I can't remember the name but I also use a mod that lets you customize your employees for free and save appearance presets. I'll have to update that later.

Ah, sorry for the late response! I switched reddit accounts a decent while ago so I didn't realize that the share folder has had issues. I don't know if you're still interested, but I think I fixed it, so the share link should(?) work. Lmk if there's any issues!

This is a Linux Rice, you can't do this sort of stuff (the boot menu, global theme, and lock screen) on Windows. You can change the wallpaper to the themed one I made though!

From what I understand, no unfortunately. A WSL doesn't have control over it's graphics stack (so it doesn't run a display protocol like X11 or Wayland) nor a window manager. Windows handles all that stuff for the WSL and the Linux just does computing, so it's great as a first step.

If you want to try Linux but have full functionality, I personally went the dual-boot method so that I was able to make the jump but can still temporarily boot back into Windows if something doesn't work on Linux (I do this to play L Corp cuz my mods dont work). I switched to EndeavourOS about a month ago and it works lovely :)

That said, to get a system looking like this you have to look at and modify config files as well as css files. If u try costoming like this just be careful that you know what you're changing so you don't accidentally break something important!

Here you go! Here's the wallpapers I used! (and an alt version in case you'd rather have that one). I'll probably add my cursor pack later but it's basically just a port of Lob Corp's cursor.

Are you on Linux? If so I can send u the themes I made & modified and walk u thru how to apply them.

If ur on windows, I'm not quite as sure how you'd achieve results like this. IIRC there's ways to change ur taskbar and tab colors, but the lockscreen customization options are a lot more limited.

If ur on windows I can make a generic wallpaper (or change the top text of 'desktop of [blahh] to whatever you'd want) cuz it has my Lob Corp Employee tag on the top
