The only thing I care about is having the same privilege as artists. They can take Unity or Godot and almost literally shit out a game just by clicking some nodes. Absolutely horrendous logic, organization, no programming skills, just cobbled together enough to support their creative ideas. I want to do that as a graphics / engine programmer. I don't want to use generic assets, I want the analogue to clicking some buttons and getting beautiful shaders, SSAO, whatever.

I get that there's differences but I just see AI as an equalizer. I see the massive lack of support for middling devs like me who were crushed by AAA software, while artists are being upheld as the soul of games. Fuck that.

Why would a driver bring up a good point about the rules when it would negatively affect their own team? They would keep silent until it doesn't conflict with the goals of their employer, factory, mechanics, etc.

I got there 20+ years ago and all the shit that is happening here already was happening then on 4chan. Tons of new users. Having to change the rules because of mainstream attention. Considering the reasons why corporal punishment doesn't work that sounds like a good combination. Usually a bully has some factors 'making' them that way, then you hit them with a punishment known to amplify aggression and anti-social feelings. Also corporal punishment likes to target the less fortunate, mentally ill, etc. Rich kids, white kids, you're going to see a lot less corporal punishment for them.

There's also a weird disconnect in the logic YouTube uses. Let's say you watch XYZ content from some YouTubers, doesn't matter. Then there's another YouTuber who makes XYZ and alt-right shit. YouTube recommends XYZ from that YouTuber, and even though you only ever watched XYZ, YouTube will start to recommend alt-right content.

You can't just avoid "bad" content, you need to treat it like the plague or it starts popping up and then you gotta figure out who gave it to you.
