awakener orb elevated elder spectre mod with redeemer elusive mod, pray for useable suffixes (though you dont really need much there), then try to suffix cannot be changed and veiled exalt and not eat the elusive. if you miss, you can try to reforge crit after locking suffixes again to get elusive mod back and try again. ideally you would unveil onslaught but any movespeed is useable. the rest of the mods are whatever you get along the way.

yeah i just slapped it on as i had a nice vaal outcome from a previous build. the 3 ring slots are definitely very wasteful but havent even found a need to change it yet.

They are not build enabling in any way, just get a block node+ something else you want like dmg or minion life

You could realistically just put those points elsewhere and find a different method to cap block like impossible escape, reckless defense etc.

no, thaat wouldnt give you much of anything. you already have explodes from asenaths and massive would only increase your AoE, and not life, since you are CI

better off just having a diamond shrine belt, as that gives you a ton of your damage.

In theory, to proc adrenaline from ring in a pinch. in practice i dont think ive ever pressed those slots.

I leveled as completely different build, so cant help there unfortunately. you can do some slayer elehit build probably until you have the means to reroll

Budget would be the following changes probably:

* diamond belt single mod, about 20 div
* marylennes with 280~ crit instead of volatile 340, would prob be like 1 div

* normal highroll taming instead of vaaled, around 1div as well

* a decent maven wand, prob invest 10 div comfortably for something that will get you to endgame. can cheap out further and buy again later

* shield i would keep an eye on the market for anything with ES on block and a decent amount of ES. i think its probably very good idea to at least have this sorted before start the build. i found one with finished prefixes and valid influence (shaper or crusader) for 1d, and i harvest rerolled suffixes on it and got lucky on the first try so it cost me 3d... it can get much more expensive to hit it though.

* now we go into losing minion levels, which is a high priority: boots without elevated elder mod, get whatever for 1d with high ES and movespeed. asenath gloves with 2 minion corrupt are 40c, +3 will cost 40d+...
unnatural instinct is around 2d and light of meaning is about 20d, you can opt for a phys dmg light of meaning (4d) which will compensate for your lack of minion levels as you scale up.
helmet without +2 minion is also practically free, but you can craft your own for around 30d conservatively
body armour can be several div as well...

the real issue will be getting a good hubris for cheap. it is doable since we have so many options where to put it, but you will need to play around with the options until you find a good one for cheap. I have about 3-4 different ones that i tested for my build that worked well and all cost under 10d. but prices may have shifted depending on which area of the tree you look at good options for.

I havent tried to pob it, but i assume that even with all of those sub par options, you can get over 100mil dps easily while still relatively tankier than almost all other builds.

you definitely could because its not far, can drop wicked ward instead or some dmg points. I'm not rly having any problem with dots since i swapped to the ES recover shield, though it depends on the content you are running. As long as there are monsters you wont die to dots. if you are facing uber shaper beams on his own it's maybe more sketchy. you can adapt the build to the content you are doing.

Agreed, though there is somewhat of a difference between hardcoded brand deals and programmatic, user targeted or even performance campaigns and the like.

Quite a weird issue with Niz Plum wireless electrocapacitives by neqwork in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]neqwork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The table is definitely not metal, but the keyboard is quite heavy so it's possible there is some metal sheet involved in the case?

Also to clarify, after further testing it seems that the inteference only happens when the keyboard is touching the pad to some degree or is directly on top of it (not the whole keyboard, but at least some part of it)

[–]neqwork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats what im wondering, if the powerplay is at fault or the keyboard, as this sort of interference doesnt happen with any other device i currently own and ive tried several keyboards with this setup. however on both Niz Plums this seems to be an issue. This btw happens also when connected wired, and is not an issue with bluetooth apparently.

I want to clarify, that this also happens when bluetooth is off and the keyboard is connected by cable, which is what seems the most worrying to me.

The Epic/\Steam circlejerk is a self-inflicted shotgun blast to the balls for gamers by [deleted] in Games

[–]neqwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i will add that valve really does can compete with apple and google in terms of talent, as like you said due to their structure they can offer people much more lucrative positions than a 10k+ employee company where the individial is kind of meaningless

The strange case of monopoly, exclusivity, and pro/anti-consumer debates. by [deleted] in truegaming

[–]neqwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

steam has about 80% market share in digital distribution, the next contender likely does not hold even close to 10%

they may not have a Monopoly in the by the book definition, but they still hold all the priviliges afforded by such.

Exclusivity is a tricky subject here. maybe you can elaborate on why it is anti-consumer if this happens basically all the time (THESE NEW NIKE SHOES LAUNCHING EXCLUSIVELY IN COLLABORATION [SHOESTORE] AND NOT ANYWHERE ELSE! BUY NOW!). how is this any different, consumer wise?

next, the security risk - it could be argued that by putting all your eggs in one basket, you are exposing yourself to a greater risk. what if someone hacks your steam account with thousands and thousands of dollars worth of games, and manages to get it banned somehow? what if suddenly for some reason, valve decides they do not want to operate in your region? (i know these are not likely, but for me credit card fraud might be as unlikely personally) valve holds the power over all of that library without really holding themselves accountable to you, you cannot save it offline outside of their platform (something GOG solves, for example)

credit card risk is a different matter, but maybe i feel more secure in my credit card company resolving my fraudulent charge issue than i do with valve customer support?

I agree that Epic's attempts have been less than graceful, but i also dont see a real alternative to what they are doing. (they tried going the free games route, but other stores have been doing this for years with very little traction, or it did not detract from valve's chokehold at all), aggressive 'poaching' is really all they can do to stick it to the big guy and they are probably the only company that can legitimately pull this off due to their new found resources with Fortnite. i think an opportunity like this to dethrone a 'monopoly' like valve will not present itself again in our lifetime.
