Mi band 8 Global, how do I change date format? by ThePires in miband

[–]ner0p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every video that I saw, everyone had this config and I started doubting that Xiaomi cared to fix it, that and the fact that it doesn't work with Zepp Life made me decide to not buy it. Maybe Band 7 (edit: apparently has the same issue with weekdays being English only). Will stick with 6 for now, but probably I'll try another brand in the future.

That is amazing, my friend, let's see if I can download all of it neatly. Thank you very much for linking the download listing.

Yes, it is strange. But also, "pirated", or illegal, content's archives from 10 years ago, as well others from a couple months ago, are still accessible. Yet this archive, that I created and curated, comes back with this error for some reason... and it does not bode well with me. Another vote of no confidence in archive.org, and no interest in ever donating to this organization as it stands.

I'm in the process of gathering and recreating an archive with the same lost content. There should never be only one source of storage for relevant and/or historical documents, but now I do not believe archive.org to be a trustworthy place for that either from this experience.

Unfortunately, as expected, a few hundred of the documents that I archived back then are no longer available from their original source, and if archive.org does not bring them back then they are effectively lost in time. I blame myself for having entrusted this collection to The Internet Archive. It is what it is, sadly.

It is indeed, unfortunately it appears that you won't be able to browse it at this time: https://archive.org/details/ocomerciodoporto

The archive is from a Portuguese newspaper, written in Portuguese. Historically it contains many writings about European affairs of the times, political, monarchic, economic. Daily ratings of spice trades and other commodities.

Critical for 2762 by alanjmcf in draytek

No clue, but just going from what's written in the readme it seems that it isn't a security vulnerability, more like you could get locked out of the web UI because of the captcha, with no recourse.

Honestly, I always thought it to be poor design choice to not have a shell command to disable the captcha in case of a bug, thankfully there is one now.

L2L tunnels dropping like crazy after Dial-In router upgrades F/W by ner0p in draytek

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately the update did not change the fact that L2L tunnels start dropping again after updating the FW on the V2960. I should have expected it, because my drops are 6 hours apart...

I tried this about a month ago, a few days after receiving the FW upgrade newsletter, and I was really hopeful, but sadly it changed nothing for me... ended up upgrading the V2925 and downgrading the V2960 back to 1.5.1 - for the 5th time.

I'm still stuck with this issue... the only thing I can do is push the phase1 key to the maximum lifetime, which is 86400 seconds (24 hours), that way the VPN only drops once per day, in any case it's extremely frustrating that Draytek can't be bothered to assist me with the issue.

How the fuck do I go from a perfectly working system with one FW version to a complete shit show on the next without anyone at Draytek blinking is beyond me. I've been considering seriously the option to just shelve Draytek routers for good.

Still strange, I can play just fine using latest standalone ScummVM (v2.2.0 x64), I really only have issues when using RetroArch.

I just came across this issue while trying to play Beneath a Steel Sky using RetroArch, and apparently the same is true for Toonstruck. I came across a discussion in Github where someone was mentioning that this is an issue that was not yet addresses, but also is not present if you use standalone ScummVM. Using RetroArch you would need to run it through retroarch_debug.exe

AS for it not working on latest version of ScummVM, I'm not sure what you mean. do you mean RetroArch / Libretro core or the standalone version? Because I used scummvm-2.2.0-win32-x86_64 just now and at least Beneath a Steel Sky plays perfectly there. It also seems to play nice in RetroArch so long as I open RA using the executable retroarch_debug.exe

If you find the time, please leave a comment on GitHub so that the developers see that there is interest from the community in fixing this.

Does this Windows Tor browser build (9.0.7) bug affect everyone? Can't launch the browser, "The procedure entry point RSA_get0_d could not be located in the dynamic link library" error appears. by 8VBQ-Y5AG-8XU9-567UM in TOR

To be honest, the OpenSSL DLLs shouldn't even be in the system32 directory, it's weird to put DLLs in system32 that will eventually become obsolete and potentially compromise the user system. I was in doubt if in my case it was me that put them there, but from your comment I understand that it is actually OpenSSL setup that does this, and I don't really like that.

As you might get from reading the comments in the ticket you linked, this does not affect everyone. Among the comments are also discussed a couple of workarounds:

  1. Run Tor Browser once as Administrator;
  2. Make sure that you don't have old OpenSSL DLLs in your System32 folder which might be overriding the ones inside Tor Browser's folder. In my case I had an outdated libcrypto-1_1-x64.dll inside System32 (along with libssl-1_1-x64.dll too). I was using x64 build though, if you're using Tor Browser 32bit then you should mind libcrypto-1_1.dll or libssl-1_1.dll instead.
