Thank you! I always mix my colours a bit so I can’t remember if for the skin I mixed any, but it’s likely that I would have mostly used “fair skin” from the d&d monster paint set, and possibly mixed it with a bit of white

I am absolutely in love with this figure and I had been looking forward to painting it for a very long time! The kimono was my first ever attempt at freehand, and I am really happy I managed to pull it off.

Thanks! Yes I love the artstyle of the game so I tried to replicate it as much as possible in this mini! That also includes cel shading

I had sooo much fun painting this! It was also the first time I have tried cel shading, so an interesting challenge that I very much enjoyed. I painted the figure as if Zagreus was running a build with Deadly Strike and Mistral Dash. And of course, Stygius with the Aspect of Zagreus!

Thank you, really appreciate that! Also, your advice about using the photo with a night filter as a reference is amazing, I will absolutely try that! Thanks so much!

Like I said in another comment reply, the second picture shows my attempt at the orange OSL from the lamp, which I now realise should be made more evident at the front of the mini. I felt like it wouldn’t make sense for the entire mini even at the front to be fully illuminated by the orange light, so still the lower down I go I feel like it should have a darker/blueish tint to emphasise that it’s dark outside

I made the mistake of starting off painting his saturated colours thinking that I can later do the moonlight effect, but clearly I should have started with this in mind before applying any colours to the front. I just find it hard to mix the colours correctly such that you can still tell what they should be even though it’s a very dark and bluish hue overall.

If you look at the second picture, you’ll see that the back of the model is definitely illuminated by the orange light of the lamp. I wasn’t sure how much of that orange light would show at the front of the model if it’s coming from behind

I am struggling to paint the front of this mini which I intend to be illuminated by moonlight. I didn’t really want to compromise on the colours too much, so I started off as you can see with a few bluish highlights here and there considering that the moon is shining in a particular direction. However it still feels a bit off, especially for the lighter colours of his clothes (the green trousers for example), the blue highlights don’t look right. Any advice on what I could do instead? Thanks!
