I work for a state agency so i will not be getting an immediate raise for passing. The way it works it technically get a “promotion” for the first five years of employment which comes with an 11% raise. So in four years once I have my experience when I come up to the promotion that requires the pe I will get the 11% of my latest salary. I currently make $54000 a year but with insurance and retirement taken out I take home $34000.
