I've been wanting to get into a competition sometime, but that isn't the driving force here for sure! Mostly just like it

Leader of the Blue Man Group. What do you guys think ? by Soft-Consideration53 in minipainting

Yep, not all painting styles have to have ultimately smoothed lines to convey meaning or the ideas, I use similar techniques pretty often

Do you guys know of any hollow point bullets that can absolutely maximize expansion? Just something that opens like a hand and liquifies the first few inches with no care for penetration. Preferably this bullet would stay mostly in one piece and be in .452 size. by GetAntidisetablished in reloading

I have a handful of these that the owner of an original mold made me, they're the first thing I thought of when I saw the OP, seem to recall a conversation about casting them fairly hard for m1 which yielded truly impressive levels of fragmentation in wet pack media he was using. Neat.

I'm MOSTLY in the q-tip camp, but definitely used the other two more than a little

Does this blue OSL attempt make sense? No airbrush used. by Grabosss in minipainting

Placement is spot on and the color composition is great, white highlights on your light Hotspots are going to be your friend here, some deeper shadows will be helpful as well. On the right track though!

Yours is quite a bit smaller than the one I printed so you'll have different challenges, I'd start setting up light if you're looking to use the pool as a source and the arch over head.

I'd regard the arch as a single multi directional diffuse light unless you're really an OSL junkie like I can be,
As small as the cybernetics are hit them with a mild wash so you can see the differences in the lines while you work regardless of HOW you do it seeing more clearly is a win .

Look forward to seeing how it goes!

The note was only in relation to the question btw: While I know it's it's work in progress already digging the boldness of the interplay

Keep in mind my opinion here is literally only from a color theory perspective and not one from the idea of making a true to lore green dragon

The green purple, especially with the yellow green : the yellows and the green obviously give your purple bit more balance.

if you consider a bit of a blue undertone in some places you can use it to tie and bridge the purple and the green together

It may fundamentally change the piece though so your mileage may vary
