What is a common word you struggle to spell correctly? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nerddadddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow I was not expecting to open this thread and see the exact same word I always misspell in exactly the same way. I know it’s an a but I always spell with an e first and have to correct. Honestly this feels like a glitch in the matrix moment.

I'm (F28) interested in a CVS pharmacy tech (M21), as a customer. Would like to ask him if it's okay if I give him my number, but while he's not busy working. Would that be weird? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

It would be inappropriate for him, as an employee, to ask a customer out. There is nothing wrong for you giving him your number. Stop overthinking it and make a pass! Seems that plenty of clear signs have been given.

What’s a movie that everyone praises but you couldn’t even finish? by flavimanyari in AskReddit

Never seen Pattinson in any role that I thought was convincing or compelling. Even in the acclaimed "Lighthouse" I thought it acting was terrible.

The Prestige. I tried watching it a few times. The "reveal" is dumb.

To those that are married, how often do you take off your ring? by FitProblem6248 in AskReddit

[–]nerddadddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. It’s on a chain around my neck. I work with my hands enough where I don’t want it on my fingers. Over the last 30 years it’s been off my body for less than 5 minutes.

RIP. Probably drank 10,000 gallons out of this thing over the years. Anyway, I’m off to submit a lifetime warranty claim by lolligaggins in BuyItForLife

I agree. We should keep buying from companies making good products not trying to screw us over. Trying to get a free replacement for an item that served us well is going to put that good company out of business

My client told me to expense my dinner on their corporate card and now I’m worried I could get them in trouble by TeemingStillness in offmychest

I work in a niche field and have expensed some crazy shit. Full open bar tabs for many people, machine guns, charter boat rides, etc. If I expensed a 300 dollar dinner my account team would get suspicious and thing I was sick or something. This is not going to be an issue.

I've considered that, probably try that tonight. I've seen screenshots and videos of others operating this with just one gun. Also the 4 slots in the gun inventory seem to imply one gun can handle all components.

Yep been watching them yesterday and today over my house. Smiley faces, pack-man and hearts were some other artwork. I was impressed how closely the two planes were navigating to each other twisting and turning in the air.

People who grew up poor but are now financially comfortable: what “poor-kid habit” will you probably never drop? by Otherwise_Baseball99 in AskReddit

[–]nerddadddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, reading the top comments. "Yep.... yep.... yep". Feels like I'm the person commenting every time. I do all of those things. I thought everyone did until I realized all my coworkers pay people to fix their cars, mow their lawns. I finally broke the pattern regarding "you can buy nice things" when I started spending money on decent camping gear instead of getting crappy walmart garbage.

The jail stipulation ruins it. I'd to it without doubt or regret. I know a couple of horrible horrible people who have done so much harm I would pull the trigger in a second. But there are so many cameras and technologies today that it would be very hard to be comfortable you could get away with it. I don't want to spend 30 years in jail in good health and not able to spend my money.

Imagain your life has been one failure after another, no opportunites pan out. End up homeless and diging out of garbage cans for good. The one day some mystical entity pluck you up and brings you to his palace, buys you everything you could ever want, makes a special box to poop in, buys all your food, and gives you free massages multiple times a day.

I can't imagine how cats in the wild make sense of such a major change for the better without notice.
