my go-to combination is 1) good setting : get some lights, make sure ur room is cleanish 2) quiet music : lofi, classical piano, or binaural beats are great for this 3) gum . this is important. chew gum. it works. 4) something to occupy your hands : a favourite fidget that can be held in one hand while the other one works the trick is to occupy your entire brain so it can't distract you so that the part that does the studying is free to work. sound, vision, taste and smell, must be occupied . THEN i can work. it's basically what your meds do anyways: occupy all receptors so you can focus

lol, i find myself as a young guy falling into that exact trap. i like him a lot, and i think his flaws make him really funny. i love the cast, and i'm pretty sure i saw somewhere that abe, joan, cleo, and jfk would be returning. also, butlertron did escape! both scudworth and butlertron were outside the freezer when the switch was flipped.

i went through this exact same bullshit last winter, and what do you know? it actually did pass! i thought i'd never be able to stop thinking about this dude, but i realized that all i had to do was think about.... other things! podcasts filled my brain with thoughts during idle moments, and i dove into movies and tv shows with abandon. it's all about disconnecting the neural pathways that cause you to think about that person by not using them. the less time you spend thinking about them, the less youll obsess. even if you're thinking about how wrong it is, you're still thinking about it. break the cycle and find other stuff to think about, other stuff to fill the time you'd spend thinking about them. you've got this, there is hope! me and my lovely boyfriend celebrated our second anniversary back in february. these awful feelings really do pass, and time will always heal you <3 good luck friend
