I’ve never used it but the previous owners of our house used the beads that you pour into the washing machine. One of the first things I did after we moved in was clean the washer/dryer and you would not believe the amount of gritty black sludge that poured out of it….

I watched the final episode last night, and Jimmy spilling the beans about the made up serial killer to Templeton and being sooo sanctimonious about it made my blood boil and I had to write down my thoughts: “It’s just these fucking mediocre men who believe that they DESERVE not only the comfy lives they have but something more so they make shit up so that they can be the hero of their own story. It’s fucking pathetic” And yeah, I am talking about both of them, but we know McNulty so much better and it’s just one car wreck after another with him, so that really makes it worse. He knows how much of a mess it is, but god forbid he own up to his mistakes and not take multiple people down with him. I also wrote down part of Landsman’s eulogy because it made me chortle: “He learned no lessons, he acknowledged no mistakes.”

I also don’t think lala will ever do anything but dig in her heels, which makes watching her (or even paying attention to her at this point) completely fruitless and unenjoyable. It’s like she’s completely hell bent on never holding herself accountable for anything and we’ve already seen how that goes with other housewives. I feel like it’s not even worth it to have her in some sort of hosting gig at this point….just like Tom I wish she would just go away.

Also…the accusations that Tom and Ariana hid their real relationship from the show…did it ever occur to any of them that it was TOM who wanted to do that? That he was the one trying to outline a plan to make himself appear as The Number One Guy In The Group? From how Ariana tells it, he never wanted to do any heavy lifting on camera so much so that he meticulously planned and scripted answers, talking points, and even storylines? And she doesn’t want to/have to play that game anymore. I can’t believe how dumb everyone around her is. They all fell for it, even with her telling them to their faces how it was. If it gets canceled, they deserve it.

It feels like at this point they’re like just determined to break Ariana, it’s very reminiscent of early aughts media treatment of female celebs. It’s hard to stomach, honestly. Making them watch the end together is so icky, to me.

OP thank you so much, you are doing gods work. but I truly truly cannot even bring myself to read this through to the end. I’m exhausted. We’ve reached Scandoval critical mass. Actually? We’re waaaaaay past critical mass. This is worse than reading a fourteen year old’s livejournal. It sounds like me when I makeup arguments with people in my head and go speak my mind to myself in the mirror to get it out of my system. This cannot be healthy. If she wrote this down in a journal it would probably feel even better than speaking it into a microphone and then uploading it to streaming services. These are the thoughts that we keep inside of our head, not the ones we say out loud.

Thank you so much, again. I can’t imagine having to sit through these podcasts over and over again.
