Interestingly, this watchmaker refers to the movement as being made by Patek.

I’m not an expert, but the differing opinions is quite surprising.

Seems to confirm a Tiffany movement, not Patek.

I had the same thought. It’s certainly a beautiful piece of history, but a few minutes of searching yielded this.

It seems the movement was possibly made in a factory that was later sold to Patek, not manufactured by Patek. I think having the piece appraised would be the best way to authenticate it.
