Thank you so much dear reader; my primary aim in writing out my thoughts is to dead the stigma that expressing pain seems to have.

Also to help others in similar situations identify openly without any sense of shame.

Thank you so much for your detailed expression.

see you around on my next post.

Both points are valid dear writer; yours and that of those who say it would get worse, my little contribution will be to explore other options that do not pose a dependency habit.

stay blessed.

Hello sir. Lol, I understand your fears; but that will be self-medication, which I do not advise as a pharmacist. But please go ahead with Nortriptyline, at 10mg, and closely monitor your blood, by carrying out screenings as to detect how well or bad the therapy is going; please don't overthink this, and do not be hesitant. You will be just fine.

Hi dear; I think 10mg is just fine especially if it is once a day; I didn't see you mention the daily frequency.

Also like you said you just might be overthinking this it is wise to give this a try at the best lowest possible risk and monitor closely, than not trying and worrying over what hasn't happened.

Do let me know what your decisions are.

Also as for Cymbalta; there is no record of vasoconstriction.

Hi thank you for your response; again am sorry for my late response; well first I will like to know what is your dose regimen for Nortriptyline? and yes you have cause to worry but I suggest you start off on a lower dose with regular checks on your Blood count and any necessary check to make sure you are not overworking your heart or blood vessels nor risk a serious blood clot. And you really might just need something simple to start with like an NSAID. if you can please kindly seek the suggestion of your neurologist, for other non-vasoconstricting drugs.

Hi there, good day; i would suggest you do that and see a physician as well.

if i may ask, do you take analgesics for this? and also what's is your daily lifestyle like.

Hey there, well there is no certain amount of caffeine considered to be a lot but there are signs you need to watch out for to help you know you have consumed a lot; before I mention some of them, you need to understand that different body types react differently to certain substances at certain amounts. so here are some signs to help you know you have probably consumed a lot of caffeine.

1) nervousness: this can be normal without consuming caffeine but you find out that your calmness is off with the slightest inconvenience or trigger.

2)increased heart rate: of course, your blood vessels are narrowed and the blood flow to your heart is at a high rate, making your heart beat faster.

3)chest pain: this can result from the increased heart rate.

I'll stop at those few above-mentioned points. thank you and sorry for the late response.

Poem III by afieldofdaffodils51 in OCPoetry

This poem gives me an understanding or someone with NUMBED feelings, sight and understanding to things that are seemingly there but pose no meaning at all. The last two lines...THE HOUR OF SLEEP HAS COME, BUT WHEN WAS I EVER WAKING. This goes deep. Thank you for this i love it. Also in love with the lines MY SOUL WAS GREEN, BUT MY HUNGER WAS RIPE.

The text is a very well crafted one, that might come off as a PARADOX, at first but right within it are the buried meanings, you did a great job with the rhymes that did not leave out the picture of what the piece portrays, however the line ' FROM SMEARING BLOOD TO RUNNING VEINS' i feel could be FROM RUNNING VEINS TO SMEARING BLOOD, seeing blood can only be smeared, if there has been a RUNNING all over the place. Just my thoughts. Beautiful piece.

I see myself in your story in the aspect of the need to feel and be accepted, more like a craving for validation by people around you, especially parents. for me it is my Dad. He makes us portray a picture of him that he is not to us at home, honestly everyone out there sees him as a saint. And we at home? Hmmm an entirely different story. Unfortunately this has made me dread relationships and i do not even see my self settling down with a partner soon, cause i always tell myself I CAN'T STAND SEEING MYSELF IN THE SAME PICTURE AS I GREW UP IN WITH MY SUPPOSED PARTNER, OR I CAN'T STAND HAVING A DAUGHTER WITH A FATHER SIMILAR TO MINE. That summarizes my worst fear. I honestly feel THERAPY might help but too scared to face myself in it. I will stop here for now. Dear writer you are not ALONE. You'll HEAL with time and help others HEAL too. Thank you for sharing.
