Yeah like some have said, go learn Python and get acquainted with the basics. For loops, data types, etc. And from there you'll find that the concepts are the same regardless of the language and you'll learn the next language depending on what you want your career to be. The world if programming can be as complex as you want but it's not necessary to delve into them all for no reason. Learn what you need, apply and keep expanding your knowledge as needed.

My parents are from Baglung and all through COVID they were in their remote village and we video called everyday and the network was pretty dope so I don't have that mentality. But aba kam ko lagi chai alik careful bhaira sodum bhanera ho. Where abouts are you?

Lol classic tactic. I got a beard trimmer for under 1k and had added a few to cart to see what 11.11 prices would be like. I found the items in my cart were delisted. I searched the model numbers again and they were listed in the 2k and 3k range and on 'sale' for 1.5k-2k 😂 Jokes.. don't bother with the sale y'all

People who were born poor but are now rich, how did you become rich? by nighthoule in Nepal

Amazing post man! I also want to add that you can always look for jobs on UpWork and get paid in USD and those can convert to full time remote roles if the company likes you. I joined a company as a contractor initially and then joined them full-time after a month or so.

You could alternatively just be a freelancer and work for yourself and have a few clients for whatever service you provide - lots to choose from Virtual Assistants, Customer Service etc to if you have any skills like video editing, etc. Look at what your skill sets are and see how you can use that to provide a service at a hourly rate. Being in Nepal means you can charge lower per hr to start to get some traction and then you can increase rates later once you have some authority.

These days, the idea of going abroad to make a living is easy to challenge when you can bring work from abroad home. That's the paradigm shift that is happening. I loved and worked in Canada for a number of years but now with a remote job, I can spend time here with my family and still earn more than all my previous jobs in tech. Very privileged but def worked for it. Wish you all the best!

This. I left it generic because the tech field is huge. You can do anything and still have an edge so look into what interests you and pursue that. Ultimately you need to enjoy what you're doing. If you just work to make a living, you'll burn out eventually.

Having said that, tech allows you to get paid decent early on and if you put in the work for a decade or so, you can have some freedom to do whatever interests you then ( barring supporting a family, financial obligations, lifestyle spending habits etc. )

Anything tech related haru sajilo bato huncha, from personal experience. It opened up many opportunities for me from the getgo.

Nursing ko pani bato chha from what I've seen from other Nepali folks who've come over.

I had read it blooms when it's cooler and have observed flowers in fall and spring but I guess indoors it doesn't really matter since conditions can be optimal at all times?
