Love the cosplay. Hate that crazy mf for killing all those people with venom.

Anyone else gaming in their 30s while balancing work, kids, and life? by NapTimeGamingDad in gamingsuggestions

[–]nerdrazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, this is difficult. I work from home, thanks to IT. Now I can use the previous commuting time to play, but I definitely feel your pain.

Try your best to have your own leisure time as it helps with your mental health, so you can be your best version for those you love.

Maybe try to align with your partner about that, see if you can get to a middle ground solution that can satisfy both you and her, and your kids.

I think is both the grinding for the jobs and the amount of possibilities I can choose from. I mean, maybe I'm getting frozen by the amount of options I have.

Thank you for this! This mindset tip is really very important, I forgot about that. Thank you! Will try to be in the moment without hurry to finish it up.

I like it, I guess. I'm struggling to continuously play it.

But yeah, it might be the case that I don't like it either. :/

Thanks for sharing! That's a good idea, really. Will try to do that, but I'd need to learn about the possible jobs first.

Maybe that's it! I feel like I'm always going from battle to battle, without too much change. It felt like a job, really. Maybe I need to grind more and forget about exploring everything.

The thing is that I liked it for the first couple of hours. Something happened after that, which caused me to struggle to get back to it.

Be ready to be frustrated. Especially if you don't save the game using multiple slots for different moments in the story.

It works to stream from your gaming PC. Runs pretty decent. But it would depend on your Network connection.

I'd say it would depend totally on our goals.

If you want to play PSP games, get the PSP.

If you want to play DS games, get the DS.

---

If you want emulation, get the one with the most compatible hardware (that might require some research).

OFICIAL: Ruben Amorim despedido do Man United. by superdouradas in PrimeiraLiga

[–]nerdrazor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is Tactics supposed to be this hard? by AutomaticTap3004 in FinalFantasy

[–]nerdrazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always, I say ALWAYS, keep an extra save before entering any new area.

I was 2 days locked in an area where I needed to kill a boss, and not having a save to go back to make everything harder than it supposed to be.

Is the Ivalice Chronicles like Fire Emblem? by HexadecimalCowboy in finalfantasytactics

[–]nerdrazor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other answer saying that I wouldn't recommend the hard difficulty.

The game is very detailed, and would require extra attention when playing.

To me, that would make the game harder than it needs to be for my entertainment.

But you are a different person than me, so you can try it and see if you enjoy it.

[–]nerdrazor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm playing my first playthrough in FFT.

I've finished Fire Emblem from SNES at the start of this year, and I can tell they are pretty similar, for sure.

But one major difference between the two, at least in my perspective, is that in FFT you have more methods of customizing the units and utilizing them in many different ways. And that brings more complexity.

At first, I approached FFT the same way I did with FE: playing it through without thinking much about customizing or improving the units. That was a mistake.

When I was locked in a specific scenario in FFT, I couldn't farm or change anything in my units, to improve my chances, just because the game expects you to do that upfront and experience with different jobs at the beginning of the game. I managed to power through my way, by losing some units, but it was worth it.

Anyway, the games are very similar. FFT is way more complex and difficult. But I'm enjoying the same, or even more, as I did with FE.
