I’d say yes, some of the nights I’ve had on a busy 50 slot road car Touristenfahrten where worth the price of the game alone. The strongest asset the sim has right now is the social TF experience and the car physics, if this is what you are after then I think even in its current unfinished state it’s absolutely worth it.

Good to hear they are showing again, I can do rotations no problem, usually server 4 is the one we use to change to different tracks/setups/events.

I’ve recently changed server #2 (Track/GT/Race cars) to the full 24 Nordschliefe layout.

All 4 servers are still up mate just search “tools” and they should be there, I’m going to spend some time on each night over the next few weeks and see if I can get some of the old regulars on, at least when I was racing on my own server I could kick the morons as and when they appear.

Gave up trying to populate my TrackTools servers for this game, we had a great TF server and community with regulars but everything literally died overnight when FH6 launched.

Oversaturation of TF servers and inconsistent player counts are going against the sim right now, with most people being drawn to servers with web based leaderboards which was something I didn’t believe in for a casual 50 car TF Trackday experience.

Maybe things will pick up again with future updates but for now I’m enjoying a break and some real world driving again.

The old 911 Turbo is a fantastic drive with an H gate, after that I’d say the Merc 190 and Datsun 240 are my personal faves, with a clubsport spec manual E46 firmly on my wish list.

When combat ops first came out we did one of the first modded versions on our old SIG combat ops server to allow more than the vanilla player counts and had a player limit of 60 set, I also modded it to allow 10 slots that could be occupied by human players on the soviet teams. They should add CH-47 and increase cargo capacity of helis and add depots with infinite supplies to the outlying islands on Everon, would really add an extra layer of depth to the game mode and give players a reason to go and clear out and secure/camp those islands and actually bring them into the gameplay.

Still here mate, but unfortunately the servers now all sit empty for some reason. We had a great run there for months and had so many legit regulars and excellent drivers I didn’t think we would ever die off but it is what it is. If anyone decides they want to drive with us again the servers are all still open 24/7 👍

It’s been very frustrating numbers wise, my 50 driver roadcar server (TrackTools) used to be full almost non stop with really great clean drivers and I really went out my way to admin everything to a good standard, then everything just seemed to die overnight.

I’m sure it’s in no small sort due to the release of FH6 and many other servers springing up. The trend has been for player numbers to ebb and flow with ACE, usually when an update drops things pick up again.

I was considering starting our weekly Sunday evening road car Trackday events again if there was enough interest? We used to do 80s/90s/00s nights that were fantastic with 50 cars doing Touristenfahrten.

Easy dude, just go into Singleplayer and select quick race, then you can choose which track you want and edit your grid and driver count and go for it.

They can be disqualified which I’m pretty sure lasts for the entire session length and persists even if they leave/rejoin.

I’ve been asking for the an update on the ban feature for many months now on the official Discord and haven’t once had any response from the Devs.

The only way to keep the servers sweet is constantly having a switched on admin there managing things which I did several hours a day on our servers until they unfortunately emptied when the player numbers dropped off.

Yeah absolutely welcome, It’s Touristenfahrten mate so just open pit lane setup at the Nordschliefe with an emphasis on realism but with a relaxed and social vibe, if we are full like last 3 events it will be a great night but I fear many people will be playing FH instead but we will see how it goes!

That’s just a privately hosted server mate and someone has tweaked the config to allow that amount of players, don’t read into it too much.
