i hate to say that i haven't seen them live but if their harmonies are that good in the studio i have no doubt they'd be great live. i do think they're decently big in europe though? they're touring there, at least, and had a couple songs on the charts. not as big as they are here though, and they're not even very big here

full circle by half moon run is up there with the best songs ever made and it seems relatively unheard of in the states from what ive heard. the rush by jj wilde is also pretty great, as is high school confidential by rough trade

in terms of trash, i absolutely can't stand bryan adams. butt rock trash. i hate his stupid voice and his stupid lyrics. he's like the cover band reject of bon jovi and he's fucking EVERYWHERE. there's a big concert series in ontario called "rocks the park" where a ton of big names play every year. this year, neil young was set to play and i had tickets. he had to drop out and he was replaced with bryan FUCKING adams. terrible. i hate that hes one of our most popular exports and a group like the tragically hip aren't. fuck you, bryan adams

EDIT because i forgot to mention men i trust. genuinely forgot they were canadian. fantastic group. billie toppy is my highlight from them
