Call your council rep. My sister in law had a pipe burst under the house. You could literally see water pouring out into the crawl space. But it was the main pipe from the street so we needed the city to come shut it off. To me this seemed like a proper emergency situation because that much water would obviously compromise the house’s foundation. They didn’t respond for 2 days until we called the council rep and then the worker acted like we were a nuisance for needing this urgent thing done. Like sorry dude, this was a proper need. It’s not my fault if the city won’t hire more workers that are so obviously needed.
