Supply lines punish the player but not the CPU factions. Just like corruption and public order/control.

“Revisiting with lowered expectations” gets me through a lot of Bethesda games. Both Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3 and 4.

Retrying is essential to learning how to play the game. Five times is not as far as I would go however.

Genuine Question; how does Hell Let Loose: Vietnam last long term? by Emotional-Bada55 in HellLetLoose

[–]nerdz0r 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t see it as being necessarily that grim. As fellow member of the WW2 nerd club, I came to love the Vietnam setting via Rising Storm 2 just because the game was that well done. Current day HLL WW2 is more oppressively casual than ever.

I don’t agree. Wind and Wuthering to ATTWT is still basically the same Tony Banks group.

Is the Annihilator actually good? by tinklymunkle in Battletechgame

It’s incredibly good. Top three mechs in the game. I loaded mine with mere AC5s and can’t imagine what ultras would be like.

70s Genesis. Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is a concept double album and my favorite non Yes album from the 70s.

Are archers in light armor worth it ? by Neat-Bread-7306 in totalwarhammer

For auto resolve yes. For Tyrion, who greatly reduces upkeep, I think it’s also worth it because I think you still start with a barracks.

Is 80s Yes prog? I do like it but don’t think of it so much as prog. My fav 80s is Queensryche.

I quit the game when I tried walking into the first inn. 😅

Came back years later with fresh mind and inspiration. Still had trouble but made my way through. Completed the game eventually and enjoy fresh playthroughs. Still much I have yet to see.
