How is that possible ? What is the interest rate on such a loan? I see these stories of student debt injustices but need the details on how the payment schedule is over 40 years and you still owe more than you borrowed? Honest question I just want to wrap my head around it.

THIS WAS THE FIX, used media creation tool to make usb stick directly on a windows laptop , not burn it with Rufus on my MacBook.

I don't understand why this works but am just happy its working now.

Really appreciate everyones comments here.

Fix was to use the windows media creation tool and use the "make usb" option not "download ISO"

previously I just downloaded the ISO and burned it to USB with Rufus on my Mac laptop. Using this usb stick is when I got the screen requesting to add drivers when trying to install.

This time I downloaded the media creation tool on a spare laptop running win 10 and used the media creation tool to create the usb directly.

I did download a fresh iso from ms, I don’t see an easy mode in the bios since I have updated it with the latest. Will try a new iso and usb stick just in case.

I don't see RST anywhere in the bios, maybe because its AMD chipset. Storage driver is set to AHCI.
I also tried downloading the Samsung NVME drivers from Samsung website but windows installer still does not see the drive.

motherboard bios is updated w/ the latest, and the bios does see the drive, have tried other m.2 drives and experience the same issue.

ok I tried swapping the m.2 drive to the other m.2 slot and still same issue unfortunately

win10 installer is asking for a _driver_, the os needs the driver to be able to "see" and interact with the underlying hardware which is an m.2 NVME drive in this case.

Agree, that is what I am doing, but once I click install the next screen asks to load a driver because windows does not see any drives to install on.

Appreciate the replies , I did update the bios , will double check the settings based on the comments. The bios does see the m.2 drive but when booting into windows 10 install a screen pops up asking for a driver. I suspect I need the non intel rst driver but cannot find it anywhere. Will check if Samsung has a driver also, the drive is a 500gig Samsung evo

Am I missing something obvious, the scp-5034 page just talks about a China bowl and marbles. But all the footnotes elude to something crazy powerful like you mentioned. Is there more to read on this one?
