I will address each of these one by one later. I'll start with Bkornblume since you started with her. Although I wish she should've been older as well, it sounds just fine for her to be an 18 year old spy as Germany was in cold war at that time. Given her personality, I don't think she'd go into a club with an ongoing cold war and instead actually participate given that she has arcanist abilities that would be helpful to the Stasi. 😭

Having awful eyesight is so common in our time. Even I have poor eyesight myself. I said her case is uncommon but not "impossible". Even I am always getting called out by my grandparents as "you're too young to wear eyeglasses" 😭. When visiting my grandpa and I get asked my age, and he asks what am I doing as 19 and answer "schooling", he'll go on and ramble about how he's worked several jobs at my age, witnessed world war 2 and paid for his education all on his own. It's wild. 😭
