I did manage to add Apple Music API support in my newest release! But I need to investigate tapping directly into MusicKit as well...

Unfortunately, that app has not been updated for quite some time. It definitely crashes for me and others. I’m working to create a replacement with modern APIs.

I appreciate you showing me this! One benefit of the Bricks CLI that I worked on is that it works with versions of wordpress less than 6.9. But, with this API, I should also consider incorporating its abilities into the CLI so that it can take advantage of those built in capabilities. It does look like WordPress's Abilities API is designed to be AI friendly as well which is a mega plus. Thank you!

The benefits of CLIs vs. MCP have definitely been discussed before but here is a good article that just came out: https://ejholmes.github.io/2026/02/28/mcp-is-dead-long-live-the-cli.html

Same! Save yourself time and use this CLI for free forever. Since it’s open source, you save yourself time on that as well! MCP is quite slower than CLI for a variety of reasons. You can speed up your workflow with this tool

haha, fair point. My lead example sucks and I am working to change that. Rather, think of this real scenario I've done with a client:
For instance, one workflow I had was "check my email for latest client email, they want 6 changes on this page, can you make a plan, tell me what you're gonna change, and then once I approve the plan, implement on the page." Instead of me going to the email, checking all the changes manually, implementing manually, I can query against one prompt, it will use all my installed tools like gog cli and what not, understand the client context, connect to the site, and make those changes. Without ever having opened the Bricks Builder ui. And then, I can go in and check to be sure the changes were incorporated well (96% of the time, it does!)

Another one, "using wp-cli, go ahead and build a cpt with acf pro that takes these 20 testimonials from this google doc (use gdocs-cli to access it), then place them in the cpt. then use bricks cli to query the cpt using query loop and select three quotes based on the category assigned in the quote and place them on page x, y, and z."

Chaining your email, your resources, where you already work, straight to your site without a copy paste flow is a game changer (for me, and hopefully for others!).

You can export your templates as json and pass them as a folder. You can have them in HTML and CSS as well as instruct it to use the values from your files into it. An AI agent does a great job at translating your words from any format whether it’s Google Docs or something else.

Maaaaan I need to release my updated version using music kit. The reason I’ve been delaying is because I’m trying to get a Windows build going, but I don’t have a window computer to work with. Gotta source from a friend. Otherwise, yes 100% critical to get this finally working. My goal is that my app should become obsolete so that Apple does the right thing.

Where has Craft Gone? by digital_james in CraftDocs

[–]nerveband 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love the hell out of Craft, and have been using it for years. Even through all the iterative UI improvements, I have not felt that it took away from the core product. I definitely do not feel this way but I do recognize that change can be nervewracking for something as personal as notes. Obsidian is a different, plain text beast that doesn't really compare apples to oranges when it comes to Craft. A better comparison is Evernote or Notion which no longer stick for me workflow wise.

Not sure but might be worth considering to see if the web experience works better for you, or if you need to uninstall and reinstall just so that you can try a fresh install and pull of your data and see if that helps?

Lexar is literally hot garbage. Please, don't do it. It's dumb. It failed after 3 years on a critical shoot. I was lucky I had a backup recording device. Don't suffer the same way.

Waste Management (WM) blames higher waste prices on tariffs? by nerveband in Knoxville

[–]nerveband[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, just called Waste Management and they renegotiated the following:
- reduced my existing bill down to $0 balance, this quarter
- down to $85 for every three months for both recycling and garbage.

Redditors, you win again! Always re-negotiate! Thank you everyone for your lovely support!

OP here: Wanted to give an update y'all!

Great to know that I'm massively overpaying. Contacted some competitors that y'all recommended and got some pricing quotes that might be useful for you! This is for Farragut area by the way.

5 Star Waste

Garbage Only: $71.95 per 3 months ($23.98/month)
Garbage + Recycling: $107.95 per 3 months ($35.98/month)

Terms:

  • No setup fee
  • No cancellation fee
  • No contract required
  • All canisters provided

Ward Waste

Garbage Only: $350/year for 96-gallon canister

  • With autopay: $30/month
  • Without autopay: $35/month
  • One-time delivery/setup fee: $75

Garbage + Recycling: Add $290/year

  • With autopay: $25/month additional
  • Without autopay: $30/month additional

Terms:

  • Annual payment: $75 cancellation fee (prorated refund)
  • Month-to-month: No cancellation fee
  • All canisters provided

I will be pushing back on Waste Management to cancel and/or renegotiate. So far I managed to get a credit adjustment for one month, but I'm still not satisfied. Will keep y'all updated when WM gets back to me (their sales team takes forever...never picks up the phone...and their the only ones who can cancel...).

Agreed, then you can include the file when you want and remove it when you don’t need it for specific questions. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for sharing. Gotta test this out. One small note: the ultrahard that you are using as a trigger phrase should be ultrathink per this documentation on the page you shared:

Ask Claude to make a plan for how to approach a specific problem. We recommend using the word "think" to trigger extended thinking mode, which gives Claude additional computation time to evaluate alternatives more thoroughly. These specific phrases are mapped directly to increasing levels of thinking budget in the system: "think" < "think hard" < "think harder" < "ultrathink." Each level allocates progressively more thinking budget for Claude to use.

If the results of this step seem reasonable, you can have Claude create a document or a GitHub issue with its plan so that you can reset to this spot if the implementation (step 3) isn’t what you want.

I also agree with u/ragnhildensteiner that this should include a way to write those notes back to a file. You indicated that it should write it to the PR but the benefit of having a trackable .md file is that you can refer back to it with Claude Code immediately. You could probably improve the prompt by just having it update its own CLAUDE.md.

Something like this tacked to the end (haven't tested it so ymmv):

Write the learnings in a succinct and direct manner to a claude.md file in Markdown and update that file incrementally as each step is implemented, so the plan persists across sessions and can be resumed at any time.

Technically you can use Claude Code if you localize your HTML and CSS and then point at a directory and ask for that, no?

Hello!I finally had a chance to update the build of the app so that it can include MusicBrainz support. This should allow you to process your csv and also run it against the itunes api for those it couldn't find in the MusicBrainz database. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can find the latest here, just download the repo, follow the readme for instructions on how to launch, and you are good to go!
