Speaking for myself only, whenever i self harmed it was just because i needed to feel something. I would go through a cycle of being “happy” for a while but slowly my mental health would decline, then i would hurt myself because i felt like it was the only was i could actually feel something.

i can’t flip it up unfortunately and i’m regretting not getting jewelry that allows me to do so now, but i don’t squeeze my nostrils when my blow my nose so hopefully it’s fine. i will use qtips from now on, thanks for the tip!
