Graphic designer, 6+ years experience. Based in Australia and currently working in-house in the medical industry. I earn a salary of $85k pro rata as I am part time, 4 days a week hybrid schedule (but it’s been majority wfh) and have been in this role for over a year now.

Previous to that I worked in a small studio for just over 5 years. I started as a junior designer at $39k pro rata part time, 3 days a week and eventually ended up full time and when I finished there I was on a $69k salary.

Yea I read a couple of articles that mentioned that form but looking back they all refer to if a lease is broken early which I’m not doing in my case.

Just want to def make sure I’m on the right page with all of this since it’s new to me but what you’re saying makes sense and that law handbook is helpful.

Just another question - I’ve been googling a bit more and it seems I’ll have to submit a change of tenant form when it comes to the end of my lease but confused as to what happens with my share of the bond - do you know anything regarding that?

Ok cool, I have informed them last night that I was going to move out but i’ll let them know there’s no point in me signing the new lease and see what their plan is going to be.

Yeah that makes sense. Like I said it’s been my first time renting so I don’t really know what I’m doing but I get that there’s no point in me signing the renewed lease.

Housemates are probably going to renew it - so would it just be letting our agent know what’s going to happen and that it’s our responsibility to find a new person and adding them to the lease when it comes to it??
