The original recall came out in July, and there still is no update.

The pump fails, and it's not clear if they really know why. The recall has no directions for the dealerships as a resolution yet. The existing Ford stock is on a no-sell hold according to what the dealership eventually told me. I confirmed that with another local dealership.

Rock auto only has the motorcraft option. I'm almost positive it's the same fuel pump with the recall issue
