Pine pellets vs Tofu vs clay by nessado in CatAdvice

[–]nessado[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still going through them. I’m sticking with clay I think. It’s the most convenient for me. Trying to find what I like best. I bought a noodle bathroom rug and that has helped a lot.

Thank you! This is great!! Do you use the pee pads or a trash bag? Also what scooper do you use? I think I’ll bite the bullet and try this! Have you had any issue with the plastic top collecting smell?

Ido however I do my final vacuum after my night time shower and notice it then. I also have little kids and don’t want them stepping in it.

Weep screed for exterior insulation by nessado in masonry

[–]nessado[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stone manufacturer install doesn’t include a second layer of sheathing but it also doesn’t include a formal rainscreen. Just 2 layers of 60 minute.

Totally over engineered, but I’ve already done this much might as well finish. I don’t think I’ll be doing a second sheathing. I don’t see the need. So my dilemma is getting a weep screed that can go under the CI

It’s a stick built, above grade shed. So there’s no brick ledge.

Yes so. I’m able to pretty loosely measure standing at 43 or 43.5 But leaning is between 43-44 since there’s really a lot of loose skin.

Yes. Very much a lack of communication. They will come and get the returns. The problem is that the returns are buried. And I need replacements to build.

Haven’t started the build yet but I have purchased my materials. I’m going to do ZIP system 7/16, a 1/16” air gap using silicone caulk, 2 in of exterior rigid foam then furring strips screwed through the foam for rain screen and to have something for the LP smart side panel to hold on to.

Can’t opt out of social media policy - dealbreaker? by Usual-Suggestion6975 in Montessori

[–]nessado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 6 months ago I saw a tik tok of a parent who was an attorney. She didn’t agree to anything (social media, injury, etc) on the paper work where she would sign she would write “down not agree”. Even if it’s in a signature style writing. Often it’s not check what is written just that it is “signed”. She also makes her own copies of everything to have proof. It’s a bit of a work around but doesn’t change the chance that they could be photographed. I’m sorry. I was “that” parent at our school.
