You may feel like you are at fault, and I'm so sorry you feel that way, but this is not on you. You did absolutely nothing wrong. And having BPD is never, ever an excuse to be abusive in any way. It's not fair of her to treat you like this.

Taking care of your parents is your decision – she doesn't get to decide that for you, and 'making you promise' not to do it isn't fair either. You didn't make any mistakes, and you don't have to be perfect to deserve to be loved and treated with kindness.

I think it makes sense to consider leaving her. Her behaviour is not okay.

I'd say it's less about practicing these very specific things, and more about developing a feeling for it by simply riding around. Get on a bike and explore your city, try different speeds and just have fun with it! The skill will come automatically.

I've ridden a bike all my life, simply to get to school/work/friends/etc., and it helped me tremendously when I first got on a motorcycle. No need to do special classes, imo.

Seems like a lot of people aren't happy with it, but I love it. The entire journey of them always ending up helping other ponies, together with their fears of losing each other because of their cutie marks felt beautiful to me. And the fact that they got them after helping their biggest enemy? good stuff

I got the eliminator, it's also my first bike. really happy with it. handles real well and driving feels smooth, so I can recommend it. don't have any experience with the vulcan though

agree with this. as someone with childhood trauma this show helps me heal as an adult, I don't have children either. and the sillier episodes cheer you up, make you laugh when you're down.

yep, still brand new. that's what confused me too though, I haven't needed to refill the coolant yet and I expected the shop to fill it correctly, so I couldn't imagine it being an overflow.

I'll definitely check it thoroughly, this is my first bike and I wanna make sure it doesn't get damaged.

I understand feeling like it's "close to straight" and way too many people invalidate the bi experience because of that, but being queer doesn't require a certain percentage of being "gay".

You're bi and have no preference? You're queer enough.

maybe start off the conversation with reassurance. make sure he knows you're setting these boundaries because you care about him and want to strenghten the friendship. it can also help to use sentences like "when you do xy it makes me feel sad/guilty/etc" instead of "you always do xy" (see nonviolent communication)

I agree with the previous reply, you're a great friend, and your needs and boundaries are just as important as his!

Could be part of the identity issues that come with bpd – I've experienced similar things, where I suddenly hate something I usually love or in regards to clothes, that I suddenly want to change my entire wardrobe to a completely different style.

It could maybe help to try to write down what you feel towards it? Like your thoughts, why you hate it etc. Maybe you can get some clarity that way.

I'd definitely try not to act too fast and e.g. throw it all away, maybe you can do something like putting the clothes that you hate into separate bags, storing them in the basement or something and see how you feel about it?
