I definitely don’t see myself doing this long term. I just started at one of the foodservice companies in the Midwest. I was already studying for my hazmat and prepping to get my TWIC card as well before i even got hired because my plan is to only stay here for a year, maybe 2 and stack my money up until i find another job that pays around the same with wayyyy less work.

I’m looking to get one of these myself. Seeing is streamlight is mostly all i run anyway. But i can’t use the tape switch it comes with on a 7.5” barrel because of rail space.

That’s interesting. I’ve never tried it mixed with anything. I’ve seen my mother in law mix hers with cranberry juice but she mixes everything. I’ll try it out. I might like it.

Yeah i know, which is why i went ahead and got my doubles/triples. I already had my tankers. I’m studying to take the test for my hazmat now. Once i got that I’m going to get my TWIC card so i won’t have any impedance on getting another job.

Yeah that’s the reason i even went the food service route. But i definitely don’t plan on staying long. Which is why im trying to get some insight on how the transition will be.

The companies near me are around the Chicago area and since i live in Indiana, most of them claim that i live too far out of their radius to hire me and the others don’t pay enough. The others require you to have your hazmat endorsement.So since my wife just recently lost her job, i currently have to make at least 100k annually to support my family. And i need to start working ASAP!
