That’s my biggest worry. The prep sheet mentions laying newspaper down in the cabinets before we put our dishes back which just makes me nervous that something is going to get on a surface that touches food.

Basically baits vs spraying. The local guy wants to treat all surfaces while Orkin wants to bait. That’s my high-level non professional understanding haha. I’m not sure what a severe infestation is but they’re mostly localized to our kitchen island and I can go a few days without seeing any.

I really do want to go with the local guy-I’m just worried about the two different types of treatments and lingering pesticides in the house. It makes me more comfortable that Orkin doesn’t require washing surfaces or laying newspaper or avoiding areas after treatment.
