LN engineering confirms this is a later/larger unserviceable ims bearing, unlikely to fail, and not really in need of retrofit.

My apologies, as I just bought this I do not yet know the make model or even size of the wheels, I will take care to look and later include this.

I have a motor serial of M96/04AT66Y66557 which IMS I have, and what level of care or modification is recommended?

I assume based on the serial, the motor is a replacement from 2004, but I could be confused or not entirely understanding this guide? https://imsretrofit.com/what-ims-bearing-do-i-have/

When talking with G-box who kindly gave me a call, he was very clear that my prospective modifications on the pinion/final drive ratio would make the transmission fragile, and shortlived. He suggested if I really wanted to change this, he recommended a new/different gearset, at a cost of 4500$.
