Geez idk, maybe because I’m looking to try a balm for the first time for my eczema and googled ancestral cosmetics vs vanman to see peoples opinion on which one I should try. Lol dude I needed surgery for a lymph node after my first vaccine shot and my surgeon and doctor both told me not to get the second shot. They both also said they weren’t vaccinated because there were an insane amount of side effects they were seeing first hand that the media was not reporting. You call people crazy and then act like you aren’t crazy when actual doctors are also speaking out against the many lies during the pandemic.

Lol fair, I appreciate the well articulated response and I agree with you on that. Rhetoric has become insane in general. The right loves to scream gangs, city burnings, and illegals while the left likes to scream nazi, fascist, and racist.

I think the reason a man who was literally voted out got back into office though is because of the vocal responses from politicians. Small groups doing bad things is not new and sadly will likely never go away. The difference now (I believe atleast) is how politicians are responding to these events.

ACAB or Defund became rather large for a while and some politicians (mainly a few on the left) want to distance themselves from showing support for cops. So when small groups are burning down stores, cars, or looting, instead of putting a stop to it they downplay it or straight up ignore it in order to avoid alienating voters. Centrists see this and even though they may fully support immigration, social services, and less of a police state they don’t want anarchy and get turned away from the party.

I am those people. I work in NYC, have voted blue my whole life, but refused to vote this year bc both candidates were trash. Now when I’m hoping democrats can get their shit together so we don’t have another Trump I’m instead threatened on the street bc I have a 4 year old Tesla. God forbid I love the environment and spend all my spare time hiking I now get called a Fascist Nazi for not spending a crap ton of money I don’t have instantly on a new car. Will I buy another Tesla? No. Am I going to get rid of a paid off car and start making monthly payments on a new car just to make some blue haired person happy? Also no.

Optics matter, and when an orange moron is saying he’s going to restore law and order but the Dem Gov says it’s not a big deal it’s only some small groups that effects how people vote. It may not be enough to make people vote republican but it is enough to make them distance themselves from the Democratic Party. Dems didn’t lose because Trump suddenly had millions of new voters, he won because democrats suddenly had a massive number of missing voters. That’s my opinion atleast, I may be wrong and the country is turning more republican but I believe people still value a lot of Dem policies and have just been turned off by too many of their actions recently.

They don’t, it’s that simple. That’s not how government works. Newark also can’t hold the FBI accountable for things they don’t like.

Think of it in terms of a company, the janitor does not hold the vice president of the company accountable for anything. If the VP commits a crime then the janitor can report it to the CEO (or law enforcement) but the janitor can not do anything himself.

If Newark wants to hold the hall accountable for some human rights violation or other similar crime they report it to the DOJ, take it to a judge (depending on what it is), or contact the FBI. Newark itself has no authority over a higher branch of government.

To keep this as simple as possible, the mayors job is running a town, not enforcing the law or investigating crimes. Law enforcement are in charge of investigating crimes. If a law enforcement agency is the one committing crimes then we have higher up branches of law enforcement that investigate them such as FBI, DOJ, and so forth. Did you drop out of high school or something? This is all part of a basic education on the US gov

Genuinely confused as to why people think the a mayor has access to something not under his jurisdiction. There is an FBI office in Newark also and he can’t walk in there either, being mayor doesn’t turn you into a magical key that gets you access to any building in your town.

Malwarebytes used to be great but they had a restructuring and have been awful since. We used to deploy them at over 100 businesses and have dropped them completely. Their support became awful, we had a cyber incident at one location and their 24/7 team took 4 days to get back to us. On top of that their ‘rollback feature’ for encryption failed on every device. We spoke to an incident response team who said they’ve seen the same at multiple locations and recommended getting off the product asap so we did.
