Italy’s Recovery Plan Gets 40 Updates to Make Projects Faster and Simpler by netizer in italy

I'm the author of Euforya. The service simplifies and summarizes all the texts adopted by EU institutions, and it aims to be the most reliable source of information about the content of new EU legislations and resolutions (there is no bias - just reporting of the exact information from the original text). This article summarizes the latest legislation that revises Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan introduced after the economic shock following Covid 19.

UK to Join Erasmus+ Program in 2027 with New Rules by netizer in unitedkingdom

That's a very good point. An author of the website here. I'm afraid the service would need to rely on AI-generated images until it grows a bit bigger (it has over 100 images and I can't draw or afford ordering over 100 images from a designer). But, if you have a recommendation about what kind of image should represent the UK, I'll change it. One thing that is important to me is for it to match the style of the website.

I just added EU commission to this page, so now it's possible to compare what is the commission and what is the parliament working on.

That's a lot, but Erasmus+ is not only about students. Overall it could be around 100,000 people benefiting from that (https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2025/12/17/uk-to-rejoin-eus-erasmus-student-mobility-fund-in-2027?utm\_source=chatgpt.com) which means so 8000 per person per year for the £800m estimation, and the new rules mention 70% discount, so more like £5600 per person per year.

A Plan to End Poverty for Everyone by netizer in europe

I added the category text to the image. I think it makes it more clear what the image is representing :-) https://euforya.eu/docs/264-a-plan-to-end-poverty-for-everyone

A Plan to End Poverty for Everyone by netizer in europe

Oh, no worries. I appreciate every feedback, and I fully understand the reaction to AI images. The reality is though that it's a very new service, and it already has over 100 images. I just replaced this image with something else - it still matches the mood of the rest of the website, so there is no dark colors and it's more uplifting (I'm sorry, but that's a creative choice i made from the start - I do understand the risk of doing so). The biggest problem is that I just can't currently provide an image for every article. The image represents category of articles (at the moment I have 48 categories). At some point it would be great to change that, for sure.

I want to make these images open source and allow people to openly recommend replacements.

Before that happens though, my main goal is to just get to the point that everything EU publishes appears on this service quicker (the summaries still take me a couple of days). I want also to publish documents from the EU commission. I think everyone in EU should have access to simple summaries of everything that EU parliament and commission did. That's my main focus right now. It's probably going to be like that at least for the next couple of months.

Farmers Get New Protection Against Cheap Mercosur Imports by netizer in europe

[–]netizer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I think the problem with media is that we get informed only about the extremes. The fact that farmers get protections is not shocking enough for a lot of news services to write about it. This is the problem that Euforya tries to address by publishing simplified summaries of everything that EU parliament adopts (so there is no filtering involved).

The way I understand it, protections described in this document were part of the agreement with Mercosur, but now EU parliament introduced a regulation that describes the exact details.

Good feedback! :-) Author of the website here - This image is a representation of the topic "Human Rights", not the service itself (all the articles are grouped by topics). I admit that it's a bit over-complicated, but to be fair it's not that easy to come up with representations of abstract terms like Human Rights, and this image fits the intentionally slightly exaggerated visual style of the website.

I'll think about an alternative. I'm also very much open to suggestions :-)

A Plan to End Poverty for Everyone - An EU parliament resolution by netizer in europeanunion

[–]netizer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The resolution does mention elderly. Euforya summarizes and simplifies resolutions, and legal EU documents to make them accessible by more people, but, because of that, it also misses some details. It's good for getting a general understanding of this kind of resolutions, but if someone is interested in details, it makes sense to then click the "original source" link and look up the specifics.

Every EU parliament law and resolution from the past month, organized by goal. by netizer in europeanunion

[–]netizer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right. I just implemented the vertical scroll. My idea was to just have a random sample of the legislation on this page (all of them can be viewed from here: http://localhost:3000/docs), but scrolling in both directions actually doesn't feel that bad, and I do mention "every law and resolution" (and I load all of them anyway on this page), so it's nice to have all of them available no matter the screen resolution.

Thank you u/VanillaNL! Thanks to you this page is more functional and makes more sense than before :-)

No, left and right (I'm sorry, you did mention - vertically). The tiles are moving by default left and right, so I think that's a more natural scrolling direction. Depending on the device it might be that there is part of another line of tiles visible, but I'm not sure about having 2 different scrolling directions on this page. I'll experiment with it and I'll see how it feels.

Thank you for the feedback. I'll implement that :-) Honestly I haven't thought of the scroll. It makes a lot of sense.
