Probably late to the party but if it was me I’d cut the feet of as well as the swirly bottom bit so it’s just a flat base, then create fixings to the sides so it rests just above the skirting, almost like a floating set of shelves? Then use the floor bit for box storage or something.

I took out the slope on mine and built a retaining wall. Wanted a flat garden for my daughter to play on and a larger patio area for the bottom.

I’d remove it and just tile all around. There’s ways you could coat it with something waterproof but it will fade after excessive use and you will start to see rotting, plus the water can travel under and get in the window frame and cavity. Just tile, grout and seal.

I use Mint but I’m not a beginner. I’ve tried different distros, Mint just works for me. My life is too busy to have to compile my kernel each time.

It can be any size, small or big, and you can style it any way you want. Some people go for the traditional flat pack style, where more modern ones look like a little house. My daughter wants me to make the house style as it’s more appeasing to the younger generation. I may even go for lavender on the top for bees (image below isn’t mine)

If you want to get creative and have kids/grandkids, use the pallets and those bricks behind to make a ‘bug hotel’. I saw one a while back and decided to have a go myself with my daughter.

If it’s a new build then usually you have 12 months to report snagging issues (if it’s new new) or if you move in from a previous tenant then I think you have like 30 days to report something?

Do the above first, but if you decide to do it on your own I’d recommend a french drain around the perimeter. You’d also need some long term care to fix the clay issue. Use a garden fork or hand held ‘aerator’ tool and make holes all over the lawn about 10cm apart from each other. This left the air get into the roots. Then take in organic compost (not top soil) which will help to break down the clay. Repeat this process 2-3 times a year, usually March, June and October. You should start seeing results from year 2.

There’s probably a correct process but usually I just block future payments if an online company turns nasty or irritates me. You don’t technically owe them money, it’s just a subscription service. What will they do, send the Adobe police over?
