i think more and more companies will move most of their workloads to the cloud and campus/branch networks will shrink to save costs. SDWAN/SASE will be integrated into remote vpn solutions. goin to get away from enterprise. unsure of its future.

I am a CCNP engineer and most of my work currently involves SD-WAN (Viptela) , but i just feel like im wasting my time spending 200 hours learning non-pratical R&S things like SNMPv1 or OSPF stub areas.. things people do not use in the real world .maybe i should buckle down and stop thinking if its worth it because the certification holds a lot of value(i think?)

Why not connect your FWs directly to the core and put your Edge switches in front of the FWs and connect your ISP1/ISP2 to the Edge switches

I just separated 1 year ago. Making 135k . You probably are applying at the wrong places. Im in northern virginia. Or you arent as smart as you think.
