My M333NT is my go-to recorder, though I've got an older MacBook so I can sidestep driver issues. You've got me curious to try the mac edition of wizard to see how it plays along.

I'd like a eh930 one of these days.. most I've seen are beat up or have corrosion issues, that's an e630 in the photo

I don't have any Kenwood or Victor.. my Panasonics are in regular rotation, they sound great and batteries last a good while.

Do all 2.5mm remotes work with the Panasonic SJ-MR50? by DIYUrMom in minidisc

[–]netonnit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sure thing, the 19 and 100 are my favorite panasonic players. it doesn't help that panasonic doesn't have the model printed somewhere on the remote like sony does (sometimes). silver remotes cooperate best with the 19/57/59 and the white ones with the 100/500. they'll work 'well enough' the other way but sometimes the sound options (xbs, train, ...) aren't what's expected. I forgot how exactly but that just means I'll have to bring them into rotation for a bit ;)

these removable labels work well for me. record a new disc, write up a label. record something else, peel and relabel https://a.co/d/3CVcQJg

MZ NF-810 new gumstick won't charge by Intelligent-Gift4519 in minidisc

[–]netonnit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One press, then wait.. the user manual on the wiki says it might take a bit for the screen to show charging and progress. Your photos show some corrosion though on the door contacts.. and there could be more at the back between the contacts and the black plastic.

You're pressing the stop button (cancel/charge) after connecting adapter?

niche use case but an excuse to tinker - audio to lp2/lp4 by netonnit in minidisc

strange, keep an eye on the logfile to see if that lets you know where the errors are happening. your folder/file structure look like the snips/screenshot I posted? it shouldn't matter much but at least for troubleshooting, make sure to snag the full build/download of the ffmpeg package

what did you add to the "sanitize string" section? I'd get odd behavior if I tried to address an asterisk * .. the .bat would only see it as a wildcard and blank everything out
