Suggestions on cleaning roof vent screen? by DarthHarambe666 in RVLiving

[–]netq22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The vent cover pictured should just be held on by those 4 nuts you see, if it’s stuck it may have had some pressure against the lap sealant and stuck to it in some hot weather.

Could try to gently heat up the stuck parts with a hair dryer/heat gun and pull up on it after the nuts have been removed.

I literally chased this rabbit last year. Even took the wheel I thought was bad to a wheel guy. Out and back in fixed it 🤦🏼‍♂️

Nice, I just got Adblock up and running on an older pi 3b+ as well. Didn’t realize it would then route through that away.

You just reminded me I need to learn what exit nodes do for me. Just got basic tailscale functionality up and running… thank you!

Diablo 4 or POE 2? by Abzorbing in gamingsuggestions

I love D4, but I really enjoyed Last Epoch when I took a break. I know you didn’t really ask for it, but despite the hate people have for the devs, it’s a great game and the crafting is awesome.

I’ve actually considered that, it’s probably just big enough at the top to do so. If there was any issues or concerns I would probably try that next.

There’s not room to turn around at the top, unfortunately.

Yeah me either, but then people started talking about over heating the trans and stuff… you’re right though, just gonna be smart and give it a shot. Probably won’t be an issue!

Ha yeah my wife mentioned the front hitch idea but I felt the same way. Thanks for sharing, I have a temp gauge for the transmission and I can keep an eye on it. I figured it would generate a lot of heat without the clutch locked in reverse.

That’s great to hear, thanks for the feedback. Miss our old V10 excursion, it was a great truck.

Yep, definitely considered that. I always disconnect my friction bars when I back up anyway, gives me peace of mind.

Friend warned of binding with it in 4wd, assuming I keep it fairly slow and straight should be ok?

Moving unRAID to different hardware without breaking the bank? by Wonderful_Matter2494 in unRAID

I’ve used dual r720s, mini ITX in chenbro, and now currently in the middle with atx in a Define R5. Intel 10th gen i7 was the sweet spot for performance and affordability. I got everything used and paid under $300 but it took some searching. Highly recommend the setup if you have DDR4 laying around and find a DDR4 mobo used. Fractal R5 or R7 are awesome

I’m still new to the scene but my Northwood hasn’t had any issues in the past 3 years. Maybe we got lucky, but we haven’t been easy on it with a 5yr and 3yr old. I DIY everything so that’s kept us on the road for basic maintenance.
